UPDATE: They mentioned they were stuck in backlog and sent double the cmount of coupon for their delay. Appreciate the honesty and overall work ethic. Promises to give coupon to review but then ignore the mails altogether.

All representatives were very helpful! From the start of touring the home to ensuring the lease included required addendums, all Ziprent associates helped make the process of renting via virtual property management manageable.

I have been using Ziprent to manage my rental property for about 7 months now and I have been very impressed with their responsiveness, transparency, communication and the website's ease of use. However, they have been unable to find a vendor to remove the overgrown weeds in the backyard. This makes me a bit nervous when the need arises for bigger ticket items or emergency repairs to the property. The property is in California. Overall, I am still very satisfied with their service.

At first I was hesitant to rent through Ziprent as I've always rented from a traditional property management company with a physical presence or the landlord themselves directly. My experience with Ziprent has been surprisingly pleasant thus far. Their communication methods are streamlined and they communicate primarily through email. If needed, they're available by phone as well. It takes a bit of time getting responses sometimes but overall I feel like things are on track for a smooth move in.

Helpful; professional and responsive

It was my first time working with a tenant placement agency and I didn't know what to expect. I like to be a very hands-on landlord, so my approach might have been a bit unique as wanted to be very involved with the tenant application process. Ziprent's platform was easy and straightforward. Communication and full visibility was provided every step of the way. Coordinating inspectors and photographers, etc was also fairly painless. I enjoyed receiving live updates throughout the application process and receiving the thorough background checks. The customer service folks are on point and very attentive and responsive. This tech driven platform worked well for me. My only caveat is that they don't have boots on the ground, so if you want a bit of a more personal touch with a local manager, this may not be the right platform for you. But I enjoyed using their services and found the pricing to be fair.

Great relationship managers. Ziprent estimated 2-3 weeks to place the tenants and they did it within that timeframe. Took good care in vetting applications and provided appropriate recommendation. Portal is very intuitive. Automatic process is laid out pretty much for every common scenario that works seamless. There were few minor setbacks that delayed the process. Despite of it they could place the tenants within the timeframe. It would be greatly helpful if ziprent could be proactive in areas where it could have avoided delays, like scheduling listing appointment, guiding owners to get the previous listing down(since ziprent deals with a lot of clients, they would be having more knowledge than owners so any advice would help owners a lot. ) Otherwise it could have 5 out 5 stars.

Ziprent has given me the ability to rent my property out while living abroad. It is also extremely affordable compared to other options out there. The manage-by-teams model is an industry disruptor and it works! I appreciate the ability to always be able to get a hold of someone on the phone. Emails are always promptly returned. I feel comfortable that my property is in good hands with Ziprent. Only bit of feedback (and why I'm not giving full 5 stars) is that there needs to be more collaboration and connectivity among the Ziprent teams. Because they operate in such a way, it unfortunately creates silos, where often the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. An example of this is one year, I had a tremendous amount of repairs and maintenance needed after one of my tenants moved out. It was a complicated process because of the nature of the work, but I found myself having to constantly bring together the repairs and leasing teams to get them aligned. It would be nice to have like a project manager, who brings everything together internally and makes sure all teams involved are sync'd and heading toward the same common goal. Otherwise, zero complaints about Ziprent. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who asks!
