I live in NJ and bought a rental property in Durham, NC. I spoke to 3 local property managers and 3 online services before deciding on Ziprent for the following reasons: - their fees for listing and placing a tenant as well as for monthly fees for managing the rental was the lowest. - whether I sent an email inquiry or on the rare occasion where I wasn’t able to reach a person on the phone and had to leave a message, I got a response within about half an hour. - even though the person who responded to my inquiries and phone calls were different every time, they all seemed equally friendly and up-to-date on my details, so it felt like I was dealing with the same person. This gave me the confidence that the company fostered a professional and customer-friendly culture. Ziprent scheduled a photographer on the day my property closed on a Friday and it was listed the following Monday. They scheduled three walkthroughs during that week and by Friday they had signed a tenant with excellent credit rating and after completing all the steps required, the tenants took possession the following Sunday. I had been following another townhouse in the same community that had listed a month before mine for the same rent and that closed after mine did. I couldn’t be happier with how Ziprent’s tenant placement team managed this process. It’s too early to comment on Ziprent’s property management service, but the follow up and communication so far have been excellent and I am hopeful that my experience in that area will also be superlative.

I recently used ziprent for tenant placement services and am glad I did. They were way cheaper than other brokers and the best part is the transparency you get with them. I can login to their website and view who viewed my listing online, of them how many scheduled an appointment to physically see the property. Also the time they came, when they left. Moreever if any applications are submitted they will run credit and backgrounds checks and they only shortlist guys who qualify. Totally worth it!

It made me feel like they were really looking out for me throughout the process. Ziprent also did a great job of keeping me in the loop by passing on my questions to the house owner and getting back to me with answers. It gave me peace of mind and helped me make an informed decision about the property. The self-guided tour was also super convenient.
