I've been using these filters for years and it's been wonderful but now I'm wasting a lot of money because the filters are expensive and now there is this horrible taste after sometimes just a week sometimes right away they're just not made like they used to be. If it tastes like rubber you're drinking rubber. It's disgusting. It's almost like this exhaust flavor more than rubber it's gross and it's poison what's the point of poisoning filtered water? Horrifying! now I'm going to purchase a whole new system. Thanks Culligan for destroying something good

I thought that the girls had trebled their water intake at home,or I was going mad as the filters don't last. I too have been a zero water customer for a long time, over 10 years. I have raved about this company even had a discount code to pass onto my customers - giving them the full discount, but sadly now, I'll be leaving. Since Cullingan have taken over, the filters are lasting just over 1 week, at best, sometimes even less. We used to get between 4 and 5 weeks out of a filter. Sounds like Cullingan are going to kill the brand, from cost cutting. Very sad as this used to be the best filter out there. Sort it out Cullingan, or lose the valuable customers that you acquired!

I have used ZeroWater for several years and have been mostly happy until recently. It does feel like something has changed. I used to get 4 weeks on a filter, but of the last 4 only 1 made it that long. Also, customer service used to be better. When I recently reached out to tell them how unhappy I am, how my last 4 filters held up, and that I was seriously considering leaving Zero behind, I received the form email and then nothing else. When I followed up and said that I couldn't believe no one responded to me, I still did not receive a response but did get an email telling me 4 new filters were on the way. Too late. I had already donated my dispenser and I'll be donating those filters when they arrive. I have moved to Epic Water, which appears to be a better system anyway.

The filters originally championed a 5 stage filtration process which lasted several months depending on initial water supply quality. I totally agree with the other reviews stating massively reduced time before needing replacing. I believe it was around the time Culligan started putting their name on the product. The fishy smell and taste was awful, I spent ages arguing with the family about it as the previous ones never had this issue. I actually cut open a filter expecting to find the 5 different membrane sections but all that was in the filter was brownish beads, that's it. Highly expensive also compared to other filters, really disappointed after initial high quality product. Just bought an under sink system with separate drinking water tap. I held off with this review thinking it might be my water supply but after seeing other reviews complaining of the fishy smell and taste I realised it's the filters.

I would not recommend this product. The filters are expensive and do no last long. They are difficult to screw into the pitcher. I was unable to recycle them despite the company stating they are a class 5 plastic. Furthermore they lack a recycling symbol on them. As soon as the filter was starting to be less effective, the water had a horrible taste. It was undrinkable at this point after barely 2 weeks of use in a 2 person household. Definitely not worth the money!

Does not deserve even a single star. Absolute waste of an oap's money. £150+ wasted on jug and filters. None of the filters lasted more than few days with worst possible taste can't get refund because these cowboys are no more in business in UK. Don't even think of going near there products.

I ordered online and the soonest I could get delivery was an hour away. I ordered it and drove to the staples where it was to be delivered on the day they said. It wasn’t delivered and wouldn’t be for a week. I cannot drink the water here without filtering it, and since they took the money out of my account as soon as I ordered it, I cannot get my money back to order another somewhere else. I will never do this again and will get a different system.
