Zen Planner is not geared for small business. Their contract was not clear and hard to cancel. I would not recommend Zen planner for smaller business. with fluctuating student numbers The following is what customer service told me when I was finally 'allowed ' to cancel. "Yes, you've read that correctly. You can choose whether you would like additional access to Zen Planner through 10/26/18 with this final payment, or you can make the payment and close your account immediately" This was after I tried to cancel outside of their special cancellation window, they wanted to to charge me $499 cancellation fee for cancelling 1 month early. Not a happy customer.

Have been with Zen Planner since 2015, it’s software is very user friendly but unfortunately they have some flaws that for some reason sometimes they multiple charge my students or don’t charge at all. It will happen once in a while and when that happen, their costumer service become very slow and dismissive, they will send you to the processor and the processor will send you back to them. For instance, now, I have been asking to talk to a supervisor for days and they simply don’t call and when I call to reach someone no one is ever available. It is very unfortunate because as I said the system is very user friendly, but they are not trust worth. Following up: Zen Planner gave me notice of cancelation after I refused to remove this review. Based on the problems I have had with them, I already had in mind and was searching for a more reliable system. Unfortunately I was forced to do it rushed, I have been trusting all my billing transactions and contacts to Zen Planner, and this transfer process does take a long time. Nick, one of the supervisors dealt with this situation very unprofessionally, focusing on make me remove my review rather then fix the real issue, treatned a few times and finally just gave me notice. I have never seen this before... I can’t stress enough that you can’t trust such important information for your business in such hands.

sorry guys. We've been using zen planner for a year and a half now, and still feel like we need to contact support very often to get assistance with using it. The scheduler is ok for classes, but is terribly difficult to use for my PT appointments. It takes way too many steps to add, remove, or move an appointment and so I just end up using my Outlook Calendar instead. Frustrating when I pay for zen, and Outlook and Google calendars are way easier to use. Also, when we call for assistance it takes a few hours or the next day before we can get help. I know if my customers aren't happy and I can't take care of them right away... there is a good chance that I lose them. Even our members have had numerous challenges with the app and registering for classes or even signing in at the front desk due to constant application error code. Honestly, if FBBC didn't require that we use zen, we would have found another system long ago.

They have a problem charging my customer's cards by mistake. This has happened twice this year. After all was said and done, they left me to explain their mistake to my customers. Very unprofessional. Also, the iPad app doesn't really work. It freezes up at least once a week. I would not recommend Zen Planner.

Had some issues with Zenplanner and it took 3 months and over a 100 emails dealing with tech support to try and resolve the issue.... what a nightmare for a small business to deal with!!!!

Zenplanner has numerous common issues that add time to my day and make my day more stressful. Their apps are missing key items to make them user friendly as an owner. And their workout tracking, automations, and system glitches are in dire need of an overhaul. There are numerous gym management software companies out there, so I would not recommend them for any business.

I’ve lost hundreds of dollars from mistakes ZP has made over technological glitches on membership. We are planning to switch to another program for our gym, even though we’ve been w ZP for 6 years. The customer service professionals are kind and prompt; they are the only redemption for ZP. But you can’t outperform a poorly made program that’s riddled with issues.
