Zenoti Review - Small UK Clinic
We wanted to share a balanced view based on our experience with Zenoti so far. The implementation team were fantastic. Mayukha and Soumyadipta in particular were dedicated and knowledgeable, and always seemed available to answer our questions no matter the time of day. The overall implementation was incredibly well handled and we felt supported throughout. Since handover, the support teams, including the UK and the wider team, have been brilliant. They answer questions promptly and always follow up with updates, which we really appreciate. The patient facing mobile app works well and our patients like it. Memberships are handled really well, and the platform itself is genuinely powerful, there is so much functionality that there is very little it can't do. The marketing module is great too, though it would benefit from integrations with third party APIs. That said, there are some real issues on the operational side that need attention. The online patient booking system is both buggy and poorly designed, for example the consent form can freeze while a patient is completing it. The booking screens also look dated, although we understand a new version is coming. As front of house staff, the week view is a real weak point and lacks much of the functionality of the day view. Not being able to see completed appointments in certain views is also frustrating. The new in clinic booking system, while promising, is still frustrating and buggy and needs a lot more work before it's ready. The platform is slow to load and navigate through, and it doesn't work at all well with Safari. From a therapist perspective, the mobile app is frustrating too. E.g. Navigate quickly to a specific day, drop out of the app briefly, and come back in, and it resets to the default day instead of remembering where you were. The photo manager also needs real improvement. This was a huge disappointment as we paid extra for it. Image quality makes it hard to use, only taking photos in landscape is near useless and the markup tools are poor quality. How forms are handled could be majorly improved as well. We're sure the AI features are impressive, but as a small clinic they aren't something we currently need. It sometimes feels like more development time has gone into these newer features rather than making the core day to day tools as good as they could be. It's also worth mentioning that Zenoti sits at a premium price point compared to other systems on the market, so we would expect the day to day experience to be better than this for what we're paying. Overall, Zenoti is an incredibly powerful system backed by an excellent implementation and support team, but the basics of booking, forms, and mobile usability need serious attention to match the strength of everything else. There is, however, no doubt that considerable effort is being placed into updating the system with updates coming very regularly.
