Zara Tanzania AdventuresReviews of zaratours.com

We have just returned from one of the most memorable holidays my wife and I have ever experienced thanks to Africa Safari and their partners in Tanzania, Zara Travel. Despite not knowing of Africa Safari beforehand, we were really impressed with their communication, professionalism and attention to detail. From start to finish everything ran exactly as promised and planned, and our safari guide for the week was Madeal who went that extra mile every single day, nothing was too much trouble for which we are really thankful. We were very surprised how close he got us to the animals, and we saw the "Big Five" before being transferred to an Internal flight from Arusha to Zanzibar to complete our holiday relaxing on the beautiful beaches. I have no hesitation in recommending Africa Safari for a holiday of a lifetime, I might even be tempted to do another one, in another African country in a few years time and will definitely be using this company.

We had a great Kili climb on Lemosho 7 days with the guides Winford an Joseph. Everything was organized perfectly, the service on the mountain was awesome. They prepared delicious meals, did medical checks and brought some extra fresh food to the basecamp. It was much more than we expected. At the end we reached the summit exactly at sunrise - like Winford has calculated - very big thanks to him and his team! After the Kiliclimb we did 3 days Safari with guide and driver David. He managed to show us the big five. He was just great! We definitely recommend Zara tours. Their staff in the hotels is very friendly, especially the Ngorongoro wildcamp was a highlight, waking up with Zebras next to our tent. Our Trip with Zara was a great experience, many thanks to the whole team of Mama Zara.

In the beginning of June I and 3 others were on a 6 days safari in the North of Tanzania. We have a wonderful time. The guide made us feel special and he had very good knowledge about the animals and the culture in Tanzania. I want to thank Peter for the guiding and Zara tours that let us have such nice days. I will come back. Regards from Norway, Vigdis :)

We (Parents with two teenagers) chose Zaratours for our long planned 5-day Safari to the best places in Tanzania. We knew Zaratours from a former Kilimanjaro experience and again Zaratours did an amazing job. Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire proofed, thanks to our experienced guide, to be places where plenty of beautiful animals could be watched in their natural habitat - even a rare black rhino. Accommodation, transportation and food were very good on this well organized trip. We particularly loved the luxurious tents of the Serengeti Wilderness Camp, where we could hear all those exciting animal noises at night. After our return we arranged with Zaratours for two additional days in Moshi (Springlands Hotel is a good place to meet people from all over the world) and joined in the charity activities of Zaratours (preschool and reforesting) thus giving back something to the local people. It feels good to leave not only with plenty of wonderful memories but four freshly planted avocado trees in the yard of a public primary school! We can strongly recommend to experience Tanzania with Zaratours!

It is a company I have used before and they are the best to climb Kilimanjaro. Airline lost our luggage and they were very helpful to obtain/rent all items needed for the climb and we completed the summit successfully. Highly recommended.

Good value for the money. Our guide Issa took great care of us on our safari. The serengeti wild camp was our favorite part.

Zara Tours is the best tour operator that we have ever worked with - we have chosen them as our in country operator for over 25 years. Our summer 2019 tour was customized to our needs...rather than a cookie cutter itinerary. Zara offered responsive service beginning in the planning stage (from the US by emai)l, to the staff welcoming us at the airport, the professional drivers, wonderful hospitality teams at Springlands, Highview, Serengeti Lodge and Wildebeest Camp all the way through our arrangements in Zanzibar. Our family enjoyed every minute!

The best organization in Tanzania! No contest! Incredible team!
