I tried out this site because I want to…
I tried out this site because I want to be able to accept intake forms on a hipaa compliant platform or at least with great security, but although I'm fairly tech savvy I found the creation process cumbersome and confusing. So I'm still looking for a good site to do this that is cost effective.

Good but new features would be helpful
Powerdiary is good but there are features that are lacking and/or without consultation got removed (e.g. printing correspondence). the "voting" system is good in theory to identify new features, but it would be more helpful if they perhaps did a survey a couple times a year as people aren't contacting Powerdiary to "vote". For example, NDIS is a major change in the architecture of allied health Australia, but there is no simple method of tracking service agreements.

Thanks for the review and feedback. I'm not sure I follow your comments regarding the printing of correspondence as there hasn't been a change to this. If you could contact our support team to provide some more information that'd be great. With NDIS our Session Packs feature can be used to track session utilisation against service agreements, and we have some additional tracking options in the pipeline. Overall a very good product...a couple of steps away from Excellence
Overall a very very good product, simple and easy user interface. No nasty surprises when it comes to billing, and generally intuitive all round. The option to now book in calls to customer support is great (previously was online only which wasn't my preference), and the only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is because it lacks some basic features in notes section (e.g. formatting), and it needs more customisability when it comes to session packs/third-party funding tracking (which I have found easier in other software programs I have used in the past). Nov 2020 Update: - Been a buggy few weeks so have updated my rating. Seems to slow at least a few times a week for a few hours. Not sure if too many users, but they need to fix this as this is very annoying!

Power Diary ticks most boxes but...
Power Diary ticks most boxes especially for those that do not particularly like to get too invested in technology. It is simple to use and simple to setup. The two major criticisms I have is that there is no mobile friendly app (come on guys its 2020) and I cannot setup reoccurring payments/I need to manually process payments. Other than that it is extremely intuitive and easy to use.

Rubbish software
Rubbish software Incredibly frustrating to use. Creating emails and forms to send to clients is incredibly difficult and not intuitive at all. So many sub categories forms/templates/notes none of which can be interchanged ect. Honestly save the frustration and use a decent software.

We do provide a lot of pre-built templates for you to start from, but you can also create your own from scratch. In any case, you should only end up with the templates that you actually want within your account. I'd be happy to jump on a call with you to explain what I mean over a screen-share if you like?
