Thank you so much for the detailed feedback, we do appreciate it! On reminders - we do send up to 3 automatic reminder emails to anyone who registers to contribute, but we've found a personal nudge from the project creator is what usually gets people to finish. Building a way to do that from inside the app is actually something that we're working on now, so we're glad to see this will be helpful. Two of the things you mentioned we do actually offer, which means we maybe haven't made them easy enough to find. You can reopen a contributor's page after they submit - there's a button that reverts their entry to draft so they can log back in and revise it themselves, rather than the work falling to you. And at checkout there's a full print preview that shows every page exactly as it will appear in the printed book. We don't offer a PDF download by default because the files are big enough to take several minutes to pull down. But, if anyone would rather proof it that way, you can email us and we'll send it over. It is possible to adjust the layout, and our team responded to your questions shortly after your first email to our team and this review, with some suggestions. That said, we understand the desire for more control and flexibility, especially when coordinating contributions from loved ones. You’re right that contributors can't currently add custom content outside the prompts, and that’s something we're actively exploring based on feedback like yours. We also want to reassure you that our support team is always just a chat or email away. We aim to respond quickly and help however we can. In this case, we didn’t receive any messages from contributors having trouble, and we would have been happy to jump in and troubleshoot directly. We hope the final product brings a smile despite the hiccups, and if there’s anything we can do to help or improve the experience now, we’d love to hear from you!

The economy shipping option selected at checkout provided an estimated delivery timeframe, but as this is not a guaranteed service, delivery times can vary—especially during the busy holiday season. Since mail carriers do not deliver on Christmas Day, this may have contributed to the delay in receiving your order on December 26th. I regret that the chosen shipping option didn’t align with the timeline you were hoping for. Hi Gina, we appreciate the honest feedback. Your experience did have some bumps, which stinks! When we changed the prompts for you on the backend after the project was created, it caused some issues we hadn't anticipated. Now we know, and we've taken several steps to ensure that this doesn't happen in future.
