I participated in a month-long yoga teacher training with Yoga Girl at Island Yoga. It was a marvelous experience - mostly because I felt so supported and cared for by the entire team/staff. Everything was expertly planned and organized, filled with love and care, and I truly did not have to think about a thing while there - except for yoga, emotional healing, and sisterhood :) I am so grateful and it was truly one of my most treasured life experiences. If you have an opportunity to work with the Yoga Girl team, or even just visit Island Yoga for a class, DO IT! You will feel the magic. Personally I cannot wait to return :)

I love this platform for the voices of authenticity in the wellness world. Too often we are confronted with spaces where there is profit to be made on telling us how to improve or how we aren't good enough. This is a radical voice in the opposite direction saying we are already good enough the way we are and creating the space to show up for ourselves as well as foster community.

I attended a Yoga Girl Retreat in Aruba last summer. It was the most healing experience of my life and worth every penny. I met and connected with the most amazing women (one became a best friend for life), developed skills that will serve me for years to come, and of course practiced yoga with some of the best teachers in the world. I left with more confidence, self assuredness, love, and light than I had ever felt before. By the end of the week, I was excited to get home simply so I could infuse my everyday life with the beauty I had harnessed during that week. I cannot recommend the experience enough. Yoga Girl retreats are not a one time purchase, they are an investment in yourself and your future. They teach you how to value, love and forgive yourself, and how to uncover your unique gifts, thereby enriching every personal relationship, interaction, and professional endeavor in your current and future life.

I love the variety of the classes and the different teachers! Since I did my teacher training with Rachel at Island Yoga I especially enjoy the live classes because they bring me right back into the Shala with my sisters and Rachel guiding us! It’s so special to be part of this international family where there is always someone there to support you if you are in need! Only love and gratitude for this platform and the people creating it! ♥️

The online Sharing Circle hosted by the Yoga Girl team and Rachel was so wonderful. I was worried that it would feel like another Zoom meeting, but it didn't. I loved seeing all of the faces of everyone who participated and was so surprised to find that I actually could feel all of the loving energy coming across the screen.
