2nd time trying Yext for our 6 locations, once payment made again can’t communicate with them. Back to Google Ads👈

I am after their customer service for the last 2 to 3 weeks. Very disappointed. We have 2 paid locations with them. Our account is not accessible. I am so surprised in this day and age companies will run like this. At this point, all I could say is I will never recommend Yext to anyone.

Yext is another one of those companies where you sign up for a service that is next to impossible to cancel. DO NOT engage with this company.

My experience with Yext has been horrible. As a new business with limited resources I was convinced by a sales rep named Samantha T that Yext would be a wonderful attribute to my brand. I trusted her and believed it would be a good investment that would provide the return I was seeking with there service. What was there to lose right? It is a trial basis, cancel within a limited time and get a full refund. Eager to take my money and having to authorize the charge with my bank Samantha processed 349.00 payment as scheduled for one location. After almost a week of messing around with Yext and its dashboard I decided it was not a good fit for me or my business. It was self serve and I simply don't have hours to spend on the internet to market myself. I thought that's what they were suppose to be doing, make my life easier, not more complicated. Obviously I need more rescources than what I can financially afford. Everything is extra and will add up. I also expect better customer service if I will be paying premium prices not some computer scan that any SEO service offers and you figure it out from there. I contacted Samantha and told her I want to cancel and my reasons. She seemed understanding and helpful at the time. I was given an email to support. I emailed them and have yet to get a response, only an automatic ticket reply that someone will be in touch. I have received 4 ticket requests and no response. I contacted Samantha again and she CCd me in a letter to support requesting they refund me. She said she would do it herself but that has to be done in a different department. Interesting because when I followed up with her the next day saying again support has yet to acknowledge me and why since she was able to process my card why she could not refund it? I have not heard back nor have I received confirmation that my account is canceled and refunded. Stay away from this company. These are bad and misleading business practices. I feel very much scammed! Every fear I had when going into this has been justified! I will be taking the next steps till the company does the right thing and resolves this matter.

We're having MAJOR issues with their support "alias." We have a partner account, trying to get 3 clients live ASAP, yet I've had an open ticket with their support team for nearly 2 weeks without resolution. I find it unconscionable that their new-client, onboarding support is just a link to a list of articles to help guide through the setup process. Some of the articles contain old, no longer relevant info. For example, a short how-to video makes references to a UI that is clearly not up to date. Stay away, just an awful experience.

We paid $7,600 for a year of Yext. We have been told that to get a person to talk to and actual support it would cost us an additional $1,239. Currently we can only get support through Yext help and it takes almost a month for them to respond. I am not happy with this platform and wish I would have went with another vendor!

I wish I could give a minus 5 review. We had the service for some two years, a little over a year ago we cancelled ( or so we thought ) this people are crooks!!! They actually never did anything for us to improve our website online presence, at least not anything that had a positive impact in website relevance or traffic. This past November I was in touch with a company that came across as very transparent, even when I expressed my doubts and feelings about these SEO companies making all sorts of promises that never materialized they made us a very good offer, with easy cancellation and assured us that their success is tied to their customers' success, we took them up on it. In the course of this new company setting up our seo marketing it was found that YEXT claimed that we were still under an agreement with them and refused to allow said company access to our listings, this has caused our company harm, Yext failed to reply to any and all emails I sent them during late Dec of 2020 and January of 2021, that is when I discovered that they had just charged my credit card for a subscription, perhaps that is why they chose to not answer my emails and simply just charged my card. No matter what that is an unauthorized and fraudulent charge, if I have to take this matter to court here in Texas I most certainly will. Stay away from these New York slick crooks. As a child I grew up in Queens county New York, I have always known the history of organized crime in that city, this people are no better than the Mafia, bunch of crooked slimeballs!!!

If you own a local business and want to get your local SEO cleaned up - You can't. Yext charges you every year to rent your listings. Man, these guys are crooks!
