Yampu ToursReviews of yampu.com

I've used Yampu for several vacations in South America, with my recent one being Chile & Easter Island. They always do a great job of putting together a great itinerary. They also use the best local guides at every location. I can't say enough great things about this company. Wendy and Karolina are especially great travel experts.

I have travelled on three occasions now with Yampu through numerous countries & more than one continent! I can't recommend Kaolina or Yampu enough & they look after you in exemplary manner from initial contact to checking you arrived home safely. As as solo female traveller safety without compromising on experiences is my brief & Karolina has delivered on every occasion. I love the fact that nothing is too much trouble & I really enjoy the emails back & forth putting the finishing touches onto an itinerary to get it exactly how I envisaged. They really do listen to what you want & have a wealth of knowledge to hand to give excellent advice & tips. Would I travel with Yampu again? Most definitely & I will be doing so in the not too distant future!

Our hiking/sightseeing trip to Patagonia was over-the-top. We were always met on time and recommendations always excellent. It would have been impossible to duplicate on our own.

I have been a travel consultant for almost 50 years and started dealing with YAMPU about 10 years ago with a small group to Peru. I love it when I have a chance to work with YAMPU. Karolina has helped me with one family on three trips (Peru, Argentina and this year China/Tibet). Every time my clients return they have raved about the quality of the hotels, tour guides and services in general. From the initial planning stages to the final product they have always been wonderful and professional. The family that just returned from China is already looking at next year and can't wait for their next YAMPU trip...

Yampu booking was very professionally handled. Tour consultant at Yampu is very competent, knowledgeable and provided excellent service with the planning and booking of the whole tour for our party of three, for a journey spanning 3 countries and several cities. Hotels were in excellent locations, and very well chosen. Local tour co-ordinators were all very pleasant and helpful as well. All the transfers were timely and smoothly conducted. It was a wonderful, almost hassle free experience for us!

I am a very experienced traveler - I never use a 'travel agent'. In general I will explore the area i'm traveling to and just go. Maybe just maybe I book the first night. However, on this trip I'm taking my children and it was short and last minute and although frankly it isn't even that exotic (vs Borneo, Cuba, Russia, the Amazon) , somehow I found Yampu. I didn't realize they were more than just a booking agency at first, and I started to talk to Wendy. It was clear from our first conversation they were really knowledgeable and had a great style to accommodate even a difficult independent traveler like me. She spend a ton of time with me. Bought up activities and the pro's and cons of activities, timing, everything that I had not found myself and didn't find in any of the usual exploration tools like TripAdvisor, other big agencies like liberty or apple, Frommers or even Lonely Planet (my favorite). She added great great value! shocking to me actually. So in short she and Yampu are an amazing place to make your trip better vs any alternative I have found. Good Travels. Eric
