This was so much more than a vacation, yes we experienced the most beautiful places on the planet but we also learned so much of the culture and history of a country in turmoil even decades after Apartheid.

We just recently took an amazing 15-day adventure through Guatemala and Belize, which was very well constructed by Maggie. We toured historical towns and landmarks, hiked up volcanoes and through caves, climbed Mayan pyramids, and even swam with sharks and sea turtles. Every step of this amazing adventure was very well coordinated and organized by both the Yampu staff and the local tour agencies. Each day, a very knowledgeable guide came at 9am and carried us to something amazing and exiting to see or do! The hotel selections throughout this journey were also very creatively coordinated to provide a different and unique ambiance to each destination. Yampu Travel completely went beyond our expectations and has definitely obtained two lifelong return customers!!! Great job! Absolutely a 5 star service!

Machu Picchu/Sacred Valley private guides very good. Cusco guide absolutely outstanding. Great assistance with negotiating airports. Santiago/Valparaiso guide excellent as was guide in Buenos Aires.

I cannot even express on how amazing my trip to Belize was. From the moment I stepped off the plane, it was nothing but ease. Shen-Li, my tour guide for the main land, was outstanding. The hotels that booked for us were as if they were out of a dream! Every second of the trip, I could not believe my eyes. I do not even know how many times my husband and I said to one another, "we will definitely be using Yampu again". I absolutely recommend our Tour Coordinator, Karolina Guilcapi.

Maggie at Yamput Tours put together a five-day tour of Easter Island for me. The flights, the hotel, the guides and the overall experience was positive. I would recommend a tour of Easter Island. I spent five days there and that was sufficient time to enjoy the islands and it historic sites.

We were very pleased with Yampu arranging guides, hotels and restaurants for our tour of SA. We were able to help with the decisions. We might do a few things different but that was our fault. The guides they supplied were knowledgeable and very personable.

Yampu provided excellent service to our couple.We are very happy with all the stages of the trip. The planning was very thorough and detailed. They gave us all necessary instructions and suggestions! We loved all places and all parts of the program. Our favorite place was Cambodia and we regret being there so little! We definitely recommend using services of Yampu!

I recently used Yampu for an 8 day trip to Chile. I interviewed several companies for the trip and found Yampu to be the most detailed, responsive and provided the best suggestions for the budget I was looking at. I have to give a shout out to Stephanie Rudolph who was my contact from inception to the very end; Stephanie was a delight to work with, in particular...very knowledgeable, friendly and responsive. Stephanie tailored a trip for myself and my wife to spend some time in Santiago, Valparaiso, wine country and ultimately Patagonia. The partner travel firm they work with in Chile, was excellent. The guides were flexible based on our interest level, very knowledgeable, friendly and on time...every day. There was a scheduling problem with one of the items on our itenerary being left off, but these type of things will always happen. What impressed me was the way Yampu handled the situation. There were several phone calls made and they were able to get the trip back on track in a matter of 30 minutes. One of the maids also lost part of our itenerary and I had a new packet of my itenerary waiting for me at my next hotel stop. Very impressive service. I will tell you, we were not particularly impressed with Valparaiso, but to each his/her own....some may love it. Wine country was wonderful. We ended our trip at the Tierra Patagonia which we thought was a dream. Would highly recommend this hotel and area of the country. We were also particularly impressed with the amount of detailed information and materials provided prior to the trip. Yampu did an outstanding job of preparing us for every part of the trip and made recommendations on what to bring, the type of culture/language, currency, etc. It was very reassuring. It may be a while before we take another adventure trip, but when we do I can tell you we will use Yampu, if possible, due to their excellent communication, great recommendations and addressing problems quickly and to the customers satisfaction.
