We were extremely impressed with our guides and drivers. Their expertise allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation without worrying about driving around in a foreign country, especially since we didn't speak or read their language.

Our one week vacation to Belize was everything we wanted it to be thanks to some careful listening on the part of our tour consultant, Emily. We said we wanted to experience things that were unique to Belize and we also wanted some down time at the end of our trip. Our adventures started as soon as we got off the plane with cave tubing in the Cave Branch River. This must have been where theme parks got the idea of a lazy river float, but this is the real deal with stunning rock formations and ended with our first treat of chicken with rice and beans! Delish! Our jungle lodge accomodations (Hidden Valley Inn) were terrific, if a little off the beaten path. The next day's tour of the ATM cave was like no other excursion we have ever experienced. Its a rigorous trek, swim and climb, but well worth it to see this Mayan site. All our guides on this trip were fantastic, but Patrick, the guide for the ATM cave was exceptional. I'm so glad we took a day to visit Guatemala. It was a long day, but Tikal is so beautiful in its enormity and it was interesting to see the differences between Belize and Guatemala. Off to San Pedro for a beach vacation of a lifetime! Emily found us a gorgeous resort (X'Tan Ha Resort) away from town that was like a dream come true. Waking up right on the beach was perfect. We took two snorkeling trips- the not -to be-missed, Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley tour, but also don't miss Mexico Rocks where the beautiful sea turtles are. Its amazing how quickly one acclimates to swimming with sharks in this amazing reef. Bicycle rides into town, stand up paddle boarding, volleyball, and even some reading time filled our last two days at the beach. I can't say enough good things about Yampu, but what I appreciated most was that Emily helped us plan the trip we wanted. Did I mention that the Belizians are so gracious and proud? We loved learning about their beautiful country and the blend of cultures that make it so interesting.

We booked a 10 day tour of Vietnam thru Yampu tours. We were very happy with the service. We had 3 tours guides at different locations in the country and all of them were great.

Excellent execution while in country and on vacation! Would lose them again.

Yampu was very patient, responsive and professional during the planning process. Their execution of our trip, once we arrived in Peru, was FLAWLESS. Every guide, every vehicle, was timely meeting us. In Peru, we worked with four different Yampu guides and one driver. They were each wonderful. I don't have a single negative thing to say about any of them. Martin and Nilton, in particular, were an important part of our trip being a huge success because we spent 3 full days with them. Martin is so knowledgeable and has a super personality for guiding. Nilton was a safe and considerate driver. In Peru, Yampu was available to us 24 hour sa day, including a 5 a.m. passport situation that arose. The van/bus was immaculate. We had the best time -- thank you so much to Karolina and her Yampu team for a great trip.

We took a tour of Machu Picchu from a cruise ship. We wanted a more personalized and complete experience than the ship offered and were not disappointed. Those that took the ship's tour paid more, were rushed around, and did even come close to the experience Yampu gave us. The trip was completely customized for us and every detail - from boarding passes to hotel check in - was handled very professionally. Others on the ship also booked tours from outside companies but, in comparing notes, none was as comprehensive and rewarding as Yampu

My son only had a week off from college during Spring break. I decided on Belize, a logical vacation destination that was not overly taxing on travel time and just one hour behind our time zone. I had very little time to coordinate the trip, so I searched online for a reputable tour company to help me with the planning. I was fortunate to connect with Karolina Guilcapi of Yampu Tours, who offered me expert advise on all the activities and hotels. Her selection of educational and physical activities were a very nice mix for the week, not too overly fast-paced but just right with ample time to wind down at the end of the day. Karolina was very sensitive to my budget need and planned accordingly. She cut costs by substituting lodging but still selected a very exotic place to stay for the last half of our vacation on San Pedro Island. (Now I appreciate more fully what Jimmy Buffet was singing about after sampling Island life.) Thanks to Karolina for her patience during the planning process and her followup after the trip. Her in-depth knowledge of that part of the world was very helpful in creating a memorable experience for us.
