Yampu ToursReviews of yampu.com

A colleague and I designed a two-week professional development itinerary to Central America with Yampu Tours. Overall, we were more than satisfied with Yampu's services. I would recommend Yampu highly to anyone wishing to travel in Central America. I appreciated their patience with the cumbersome vetting process at our workplace, which was unexpected and delayed our progress for more than a month. The itinerary we put together was marvelous and everything I had hoped for. The Yampu team was very accommodating, answering our questions and concerns in a timely manner, providing a variety of “extra” services and supplemental guides, and offering a wonderful experience for our group. I highly recommend Yampu Tours!

Our trip to South Africa was perfect in every way. It far exceeded our expectations which were high. From the camps in Krueger to the lodge in Saba Sands and the twice daily Safari game drives that we took it was perfect in every way. The team on the ground in each camp and lodge could not have been better, we wanted for nothing. The food was fantastic and plentiful and more that satisfied everyone's diets and food requests! The guides were remarkable and so happy and eager to share their experiences with us. Capetown and the wine country were the icing on the cake of a three week vacation we shall never forget. Karolina and Yampu helped us create the magic we wanted. From the moment we arrived in after a very long journey from Los Angeles to the time we left the transfer companies and daily guides were on time, well versed, professional warm and friendly which was not an easy undertaking moving 6 people to the vast variety of places we went. I would never think of using anyone else but Karolina and Yampu for any of our future travel plans!!

Yampu really came through for us on our trip to Japan. A week before our trip the travel company in Japan dropped the ball and did not get the tickets to studio Ghibli museum that was a major point of our trip. Yampu pulled out all the stop and worked with another company to get us tickets (which was a miracle cause the sold out 2 months before our trip). Stephanie work so hard to give us the perfect trip and it was amazing. We got to see and do so much more then we thought we could do in 10 days and the hotels they set us up in were in great locations and the guides where knowledge and really taught us a lot about the culture. We can not wait to go back.

We couldn't have been happier with Yampu. They planned an awesome trip to Peru for us and everything went very smoothly and they were always available to answer questions. Cynthia Rapp

My U.S. travel consultant, Stephanie, was able to create a trip which was perfect for me and my son with the limited time we had to spend. Stephanie was available at all hours to answer my questions via email or phone. The local tour guides were top-notch and the accommodations superb. I will definitely use Yampu for future trips!

Thanks for the well planned trip to Equador, which included 2 days in Quito, 4 days on the MC/ Anahi, and two days back in Quito. 5 stars for accommodations and guides; Edison Landetta in Quito and Roberto Quintana King in the Galapagos. I am 75 years old and the hiking and snorkeling were definitely moderate level. The food on the Anahi was healthy, well prepared, and served in timely fashion. Equador is a beautiful country with lovely people. 5 stars for this adventurous trip with great opportunities for photography. Thanks to Karolina at Yampu Tours Marvin J Salzmann, M.D.

Karolina at Yampu put together a fabulous, very last minute trip to mainland Ecuador for my family. The hotels were great, the excursions were varied and a lot of fun, our guide and driver were wonderful, and the entire trip from start to finish was seamless. Thank you!

Yampu tours helped me design a dream tour of Japan for myself and my eighteen year old son, who is off to college next year. They found activities and venues that I had never thought of that turned out to be the highlights of the trip! They made getting around with minimal language skills a snap. Their guides became what I sincerely hope will be life long friends. The hotels were centrally located and friendly, spotlessly clean, and reasonably priced. We had only nine days, but with everything going so smoothly, we were able to enjoy every minute of the trip. It could not have been better. I can't wait for my husband to retire so we can call them again for trips for us together. I especially appreciated how Maggie, my contact person, answered every question within hours of when I emailed it to her. She was helpful in every aspect of the trip. She is a great communicator, and always willing to find special places and activities to fit our interests, such as my son's desire to see the Manga Museum, or my interest in temple gardens. She was flexible, creative, knowledgeable, and always fun to talk to. I look forward to working with her again soon. Katherine Day Reileitner
