Yampu ToursReviews of yampu.com

Yampu delivered! My first trip to South America and I wanted it to be special. I'm not a vacationer as much as I am adventurer. I wanted to be awed each and every day, not be part of a "herd" and have time to explore on my own. Minor hiccups occurred and were managed adequately. I had some tight turnaround times and 1-2 hotels I felt need re-evaluation but make no mistake, Yampu is top shelf. I was always on the go, had seamless transfers and all the flexibility I had asked for. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, especially now that we have familiarity. All the guides were very knowledgeable. No question...the best "vacation" of my life.

Traveling with teenagers is always a challenge but this trip was a great experience for our family & both experienced a new area of the world along with different cultures. My only regret is not spending a little more time in Lima & not getting to more of Bolivia, like the salt pans. Guides were excellent, from speaking English & giving us a lot of local insight to politics & history as well as getting us to our destinations on time & taking us on side trips ( to get wine, chocolate & quinoa from a grocery store in La Paz & helping us find an extra suitcase to bring home our treasures in Ica). The visit to the local community in Cuzco was initially met with groans from our kids but turned out to be a highlight of the trip. They also were not looking forward to our vineyard visit in Ica but the flight over the Nazca lines made up for it; it would have been more fun if we could have ridden bikes in the Paracas Reserve rather than riding in a car, I think. The time in Macchu Picchu & on Lake Titicaca was especially peaceful & beautiful & the Sacred Valley river rafting was a nice break from all the hiking at high altitude. Latam was also a great airline, very comfortable seats in coach & nice entertainment system en route.

Incredible experience.

My husband & I have just returned from a trip to parts of South America, the itinerary was quite full taking in different adventures & climates, including The Pantanal, Amazon jungle, Machu Pichu, Galapagos Islands. This wonderful itinerary was the work of Karolina Guilcapi who was a delight to deal with from day one , so efficient & enthusiastic. Covering 4 countries & different climes it was difficult to know exactly when would be the perfect time to go but Karolina was right on the money & the tourist crowds were yet to arrive! Absolutely everything went according to plan & the guides in the respective countries were a delight & so passionate. We look forward to dealing with Yampu & Karolina again in the future & we live in New Zealand which we didn't find a problem at all!

My husband I had 4 days in Bali, and I wanted to make sure we made the most out of our time there. I entered a search into Google and Yampu Tours popped up! I was able to chat with them through their website via phone about what my husband and I were looking for. Right away I had someone contacting me the next business day to plan our trip! Quick, easy, secure, reasonable and most of all fun! Our tours were amazing! We felt like first class without paying the price. This was my husband's first big trip overseas, and because of the great experience we had, Yampu has made him my new travel partner! Thank you Stephanie and Yampu for our wonderful trip to Bali! We cannot wait to plan our next tour with you all!

Yampu Tours was an amazing company. I went with TEN of my friends from college all across Southeast Asia and there is no chance we would have survived without Yampu. All of our tours were perfect for our group, and the tour guides that Yampu hired were top-notch. Additionally, our agent ensured that everything was settled on time prior to the trip. Yampu was an extremely affordable group to use - HIGHLY recommend letting them plan your next adventure.

Family trip to Peru We recently returned from a trip to Peru including Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. The tour guides were excellent and the attention to detail on our itinerary made for an extremely enjoyable trip. We traveled with younger children and we were very focused on selecting the right property to stay in, and keeping things interesting for the children, both fun and educational. The logistics of a trip such as this are challenging yet Karolina was extremely responsive and easy to work with, handling all aspects and requests and they arose. Recommend this company without reservation.

We had a very successful vacation. All of our guides were excellent. Another amazin' vacation, thanks to Yampu.
