We enjoyed Oman and liked our 2 guides. The hotels were acceptable and the food was also. We learned a lot, which we always appreciate. The guides exposed us to a variety of experiences, which is what we wanted. Thank you for arranging this for us.

Appreciate dedication and service of all tour guides, drivers and hotel staff. *The accommodations (Aurieum Palacein Bagan), (Anantara in Chaing Mai) and (Victoria in Siem Reap) were amazing properties and service. The staff at Intercontinental in Hanoi Vietnam was the best service as they catered to our culinary needs within few minutes. The Chatrium hotel in Yangon was average rooms & service. * The Auco luxury Boat services at Halong Bay surpassed our expectations. The food variety, crew services, recreational activities were all superb. * The local tour guide at Siem Reap was very generous to provide complimentary 90 minutes massage to all members our group and it was one of the best massage we had. *The elephant camp in Chiang Mai (Thailand) was not to our expectations, the Sanctuary camp 6 crew was not knowledgeable, did not do many other things mentioned in our recreation itinerary. The staff at the camp was continuously smoking around us. I slipped and got injured but none of them came to help or even ask how I was doing. Suggestions: a) Tour guides should be trained to communicate the day itinerary with clients clearly so everyone is on the same page and tourists know what to wear, what items should be carried along, how long it will take to reach etc. b)Have the tour guides do more research on restaurants for clients with restricted diets or vegetarian diets. In Yangon asked tour guide for Indian restaurant since quite a few of the group were vegetarians but only found out last day just before going to the airport there was a very nice Indian restaurant nearby, could have planned dinner if knew earlier. c) Tour guides should have knowledge of good shopping areas which cater to tourists ( like local handicraft places)

Thank you for taking the time to provide such thorough feedback on your experiences in Southeast Asia, we are so glad you enjoyed the cruise services and your time in Asia. We take great pride in our local guides and their ability to provide firsthand knowledge of culture, customs, history and the best local spots to visit. We are so sorry that you did not receive our usual high standard of guide service and will certainly be in contact with our local office to share your feedback and improve services there. Thank you for sharing and giving us an opportunity to further improve our tours.

I thought the tour guides were excellent. They were knowledgable and made us feel safe the entire time. Their english was very good so they were easy to understand. The entire trip was customized to our liking. We learned a lot and got to see a lot in all 4 countries. I personally didn't think the food selection/restaurants were that great. I didn't think they were very authentic and I thought each food place was repetitive. Especially in Hanoi when we ate at the same restaurant (Indochine) as we did in Ho Chi Minh City. I also think less time for the lunches were needed. We could have just done something quick to keep the momentem of the day going. Overall though it was a fabulous time!

Really liked how everything was taken care of, didn't have to plan anything myself. Guides were great. Just a few mishaps but they were resolved quickly.

My only comment would be for your representative to make sure they are at the airport on time to greet the traveller as I was at arrivals and your representative was 15 minutes late and I had no idea what or where I was going and I found this very concerning.

We are so sorry to hear that your transfer at the airport was late to arrive. We have gotten in touch with our local office to figure out how this confusion was created and are taking further action to make sure this does not happen again. Thank you for sharing your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed the rest of your trip!

We recently returned from a two week excursion to Vietnam. Yampu Tours took care of all the details and was very accommodating to our large travel group. Every day was filled with a new adventure, including many "bucket list" items. I would highly recommend Yampu Tours for booking your next overseas travel adventure.

We did the 5 day 4 night Salkantay Trek as well as an additional 3 nights in Posadas Amazonas. I felt as though the Yampu portion of our trip was absolutely wonderful. 5 star all around. It was when Yampu handed us off to a different tour company that we felt a slight drop in our experience. Our Salkantay Trek was through Lima tours. Our guide was amazing, our chef was outstanding. What we didn't realize is that there were accomdations above and beyond our tent options. Same was true when we left for Puerto Maldonado. This part of the trip was with Rainforrest expeditions. Again they guide was wonderful. Just felt a notch down from the Yampu parts of our tour. I think it would be wise for each member of the tour sales desk to have visited each destination recommended. I would certainly use Yampu again!

Thank you for your kind words! We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your time in Peru and enjoying the beautiful Salkantay Trek. Our travel experts do visit and vet all of our destinations and accommodations and strive to provide all of our travelers with the level of accommodations they prefer within the budget they would like to use. We are very sorry if the accommodations you received during the Salkantay Trek and Puerto Maldonado portions of your trip were not up to your preferred standards. We do hope you travel with us again soon and that we can work with you to provide exactly the kind of 5 star experience you want! Many thanks for sharing your feedback.
