Failure to deliver & Abusive customer service reps.
Reviewer Rob Wolff below nailed it. Pretty sure I talked to the same customer service representative he spoke with in June. My order never arrived. So I spoke with their customer service representative (Joanne) this morning 5NOV to find out when I could expect my shipment. Joanne was rude and dismissive in response to my inquiry. Rather than offering to assist in ensuring the headlight I purchased gets to me, she claimed that I must have mis-entered my shipping information at the time I placed the order [when in fact Xtralights used the shipping information exactly as provided by Pay Pal which is correct -- I know this b/c I would not have included my former business name as PayPal did]. When I asked for an expected delivery date, Joanne said she could not provide me with a new delivery date. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she claimed that she IS the supervisor. When I asked then who she reports to, she said the owner (Pete), so I asked how I might contact the owner, and she refused to provide any means for me to contact the owner. When she refused, I asked her to cancel my order and refund my purchase. She hung up immediately without response. I have received nothing but the poorest customer service from Xtralights, including no notice of irregularity, no offer of explanation, no revised delivery schedule, very limited customer service hours, and no reasonable attempt by customer service to resolve/save the sale once the agreed upon terms expired without delivery. Instead, what I have received is accusation of blame for the exception -- something any competent customer service representative knows is strictly taboo for a host of reasons, not the least of which is making incorrect assumptions. The Xtralights.com home page promises "100% satisfaction." But my experience is 100% dissatisfaction. I am stunned that a company that promises "The best Customer Care in the business" can allow a single employee to derail that promise without an available advertised channel for customers to report such behavior.
