Your staff is rude. They kicked me and my 3 children out at 1am after being late from a flight. We has 8 pieces of luggage he threw us out and turned on the sprinkler. Worst experience of my life. I will never again use this brand and I will tell everyone I know never to use your brand.

Customer Care Couldn't Care less
Wyndham had a promotion in September 2019 where they would provide a $100 rewards credit on your Wyndham Rewards account it you had two stays. I completed the conditions of the program, but when i emailed wyndham rewards to ask for my reward, i was told that there was no active promotion matching my desription.
Furthermore, the property disavowed the promotion, also (Super 8 by Wyndham Salina I-70). I took a picture of the promotional literature in my room to ensure i met the conditions of the promotion, since there was no effective date on the table topper, and the hand written note from the property thanking me for my stays and urging me to contact Wyndham for my reward.
I have probably spent a couple hours with customer service agents, have been directed to call at least five different Wyndham phone numbers and spoke to six different agents. Additionally, i have exchanged several emails with Wyndham Rewards. unfortunately, they are little help. i have asked for a phone call from a supervisor on two separate occassions, only to be ignored for a week. when i follow up on the email after 6 days (Wyndham claims a 1-3 day turnaround on emails...unless they dont feel like it), i am given a curt message to call a couple other phone numbers, because evidently Wyndham doesnt know who is responsible for helping me either. i called the numbers and the agents had no idea what i was talking about. i responded to customer care again with the poor results and again asked for a call from a supervisor, it has been another 6 days and it is very apparent that Wyndham could care less about my concern or my business.
A word to the wise, wyndham only cares when there is nothing to resolve, be prepare to fight for what you were promised, and do not expect anyone at wyndham to value you as a customer or champion your cause...even if you can prove it.

Days Hotel by Wyndham Thunderbird Beach…
Days Hotel by Wyndham Thunderbird Beach Resort
Location was really good with easy access to the beach and to the local bus service that runs along the length of Collins Avenue (this service was excellent and the drivers were all helpful)
Hotel - was falling to bits literally. several areas of the hotel were held up with scaffolding. plastered walls were crumbling and the whole place look like it had been abandoned then quickly opened up the day before. During our stay the water was regularly cut off as they had pipes burst in several locations. they keep the restaurant open during this time even though the chefs would not have been able to wash their hands. The air-con in the hotel was also intermittent this included the air-con for the rooms - so in summary falling to bits - no water - no lift - no air-con
Rooms - were of a good size with okay mattresses (bit bouncy) but were really dated and I'm taking 1960's dated. there was no control over the air-con not even an off or on. The bathrooms were very small and the water pressure was very low making having a shower almost impossible
Pool - was very dirty we stopped using it when we saw cigarette butts floating in the gully near the steps. there was also a rope over the middle of the pool stopping you from actually swimming a length of the pool. sun beads were free but if you wanted to sit in shade you had to pay extra
Staff - were over polite in a passive aggressive way, they lied and were patronizing at times. they were also unconcerned with guest needs. for example two guest that were both over 80 and both certified blind were trying to get to their rooms on the 2nd floor however the lift was not working. the lift shaft was exposed and no safety barrier was in place. a member of the maintenance team was pumping water out of the lift shaft the two blind guests made their way to the lift and were within inches of the open lift shaft. the worker stopped them just in time - he indicated they had to use the stairs but gave them no assistance. there were other staff milling around but these didn't help either - even when i asked them directly if they thought they should help two elderly and blind guests. in the end I and another elderly guest assisted them. When I raised this at reception they didn't seem to concerned or embarrassed at their lack of protection for vulnerable guests. I later noted that a ladder was placed in-front of the open lift shaft.
Next door to the hotel was a massive construction project where the noise was constant from 6 am through to 7 PM and sometimes 8 PM. there was also constant vibrations. The hotel was also a constant hang out for the construction working during their breaks and to use the hotel toilet - on one occasions i had to Que behind 5 construction workers to access the toilet. A female in my party also confirmed they had been using the ladies toilets as well much to her embarrassment - again the staff at the hotel didn't seem to care - the guy on reception just said "we have had to put up with this for two years" - He also said that there would have been warnings when we booked about the construction - check for yourself on booking.com or even trip adviser there is no warning even their own website hasn't got a warning . I asked to see a manager during my stay so I could complain - the guy on reception said NO
all in all this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and would give faulty towers a run for its money - none of the staff spoke English or american (however we found this a trait that was common all over Miami)
overall summary falling to bits - no water - no lift - no air-con - speak no English - put guests lives at danger - reception staff lie - get to meet construction workers and share their sweat and dirt - swim with cigarette butts and get woken up by the sound of construction at 6AM

Poor Guest Experience
I will lead with this, in addition to looking like a cheap 80s motel, that so many people have noted before, Wyndham Pagosa also have bed bugs like one!
I've given enough time for Wyndham and Worldmark to reply to my grievances after a letter dated XXX was sent detailing an incident. I preface this review with the fact that I did elect to allow opportunity to correct this before going public.
The only follow up I personally received from this incident was a call from an insurance adjuster on 02/21 stating they are denying any liability in the case. A call that took only two minutes and a result I expected.
I didn't receive any customer service gestures, follow up, or even a simple apology from Wyndham Pagosa, Wyndham corporate, or Worldmark. In fact, I was met with the opposite (and frankly the reason why I feel so encouraged to at the very least take a jab at their reputation). This is all particularly dissapointing considering this was the first time to Pagosa and first experience with Wyndham.
I made the mistake of not reading the reviews of this place before booking it. The place is poorly managed and unprepared for guests. They clearly lack any sense of professionalism and their "resort" should be downgraded to the lowest rating. Hot water runs cold, doors don't lock, coffee pots are left dirty, microwaves are left dirty, bathroom sink doesn't work, the furniture is old, the carpet is stained, the tile is coming up in the bathroom, the outside layout of the place is odd and difficult to navigate... Need I continue?
Honestly, I wasn't bothered by any of it. I felt our stay, which was mostly inside, was decent. After all, we came here to get away. That all changed when I woke up on January 20, 2019 to bed bug bites and a bed bug crawling on my arm!!!
To make a long story short, the assistant manager came and was very dismissive. Specifically making every excuse possible except face the truth and simply apologize this had happened. He went as far as to say that my bites looked like burn marks and that it wasn't a bed bug at all. Yeah... Cause I go around burning myself.
I should post pictures and ask others if this is a bed bug?
I've stayed in some not so great hotels, but this experience will stick out as the worst. It could have honestly turned out to be a memorable experience. For every problem only presents an opportunity, but that all was quickly lost.
I felt during the whole experience that the appreciation for me as a guest at their resort was undermined. Repeated attempts to humiliate me and my concerns will not go unnoticed.
