False promises are all Wyndham is good for. Unfortunately, they haven’t delivered on a single one they made. My husband and I bought a timeshare from them and were told we’d get things like: Priority booking, vacations to Hawaii, the ability to save money over time vs paying for individual vacations, easy booking process, other travel discounts on hotels and cruises, etc. Not a SINGLE promise was kept. On top of it, they kept information from us like how much the fees would increase EVERY YEAR and that if something happened to my husband or i that my daughter would be responsible for the payments. We had no idea we could have cancelled this contract in the beginning because their staff made us fly through a 60+ page contract in a matter of minutes and they also made us wait 2 weeks because they told us that everything would settle by then. Now why would they do that unless they were hiding information? That was when our cancellation period was over! They also opened a credit card in our name without our permission so now we have currently filed a dispute with the credit card company and working toward card canceling the card due to their misrepresentations and predatory lending.

Do NOT purchase a timeshare with Wyndham. I have paid, and still owe, an extreme amount of money and have got nothing out of my contract. Their staff relied on the dishonesty of their sales pitch to sell us this mess. They lied about it all. I have paid about $45,000 and still owe $100,167.26… How is this even acceptable? I am over 60 and can no longer afford this burden. I am upset with Wyndham and how they will do everything in their power to scam people and push them to the brink of bankruptcy. They promised we would be able to rent the timeshare to offset the costs, but when we inquired they told us we hadn’t owned for long enough…are you kidding me? We were told everything we wanted to hear, only to be stabbed in the back, robbed of our hard-earned money, and disrespected at every turn.

RE: BAYMOUNT BY WYNDHAM AT CARTERSVILLE GA Our room was very unsatisfactory. It smelled bad, the AC made it smell even worse and did not cool only made the air heavy and smelly. The bathroom was so bad I wouldn't even bathe a dog in it - moldy walls and elsewhere. I had called location directly to inquire and reserve. I asked specifically if located near a truck stop and was advised - no. THAT WAS A BLATANT LIE.

I have never written a review before but I feel that people should be warned about Days Inn in Oak Grove, KY In a word, DISGUSTING!!! Why do I say this? 1. Bugs in bed (under the pillow) and on walls 2. Floors filthy. My socks were black and I only walk from the bed to the bathroom one time before I realized I needed shoes inside the room. 3. 2 of the 4 lights in the room didn’t work. One of which was the bathroom light. Showered in the dark. 4. Non smoking room filled with smoke smell. 5. The common areas filthy. Trash and cigarette butts all over the property. 6. People partying on the balcony ALL NIGHT. 4:30 am fighting and yelling outside my door. This place draws a special kind of trashy people. 7. Price listed is NOT the price I was charged. If you want to stay here, add $30 to advertised price. 8. Breakfast was awful! The area was dirty and there is clearly NO safety or sanitation oversight there. 9. Shower was bad. No water pressure. Barely enough pressure to rinse soap off. 10. Rude front desk staff. The woman that checked us in was ok (7 out of 10) but the morning was awful. I wanted to ask for my money back as soon I walked in but was so exhausted that I thought I could power through. This is a decision that I regret. I’m left more exhausted and will NEVER stay at a Days Inn again. Way to go Wyndham!!

NEVER ENOUGH POINTS FOR ROOMS…CONSTANT CONTACT FROM WYNDHAM TO UPGRADE…ADDITIONAL $ OUT OF POCKET FOR ROOMS…UNAVAILABILITY…REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT PROMISED…INFLATED INTEREST RATE…BAIT & SWITCH TACTICS……this and more is what we have discovered as owners of WYNDHAM Vacation Club. We have been members for 3 years and have tried innumerable times to book a vacation and have only succeeded ONCE. We vacationed in Sedona, while pleasant, was not our first choice. We are a family of four but could only book a one-bedroom apartment. Their deliberate lack of clarity on the program has convinced us to discontinue their services.

I have only been an owner since 3/22 and have not been able to use the RCI program. I’ve made several calls to various “contacts”, including the Corporate Office, and my calls are NEVER returned. Today, after vacationing in Orlando, I stopped by the Club Wyndham office at Bonnet Creek and spoke to a representative- who was the FIRST person I’ve talked to since I began making inquiries in June, 2022. The rep contacted the Corporate Office and learned that I, and many other owners ( in the thousands) do not have access to RCI due to a glitch in the system. They supposedly have been working on it since June with no resolution in site. So, I’m basically paying for a service that I don’t have access to and Wyndham has not established a recourse or offered compensation, for people like myself. If anyone out there is having the same problem, please text me at (321) 266-3573 . If I don’t hear back from Wyndham by Monday/Tuesday, I will pursue some type of legal action.

I just checked in to the Emerald Grande at Destin Fl. What an unbelievable disappointment!!!! The 3 bedroom pool view room we were so excited for literally has a patio that looks directly at a wall 10’ away and is the walkway to the pool. No natural light at all and we can’t even open the blinds unless we want to watch everyone walking down the hallway to the pool; while they watch us in our room. I complained and they stated “being on the pool floor counts as a pool view”. This has set the tone for the Worst vacation we have ever had. Too bad as we have enjoyed many other Wyndham resorts

I purchased a Timeshare from Wyndham (Club Wyndham) in November of 2018. My story is not unlike most other complaints. After being told many lies about this time share which by the way is not actually a time share, let’s keep this in mind. There is no deed. The “contract” I signed is specifically a points time share/membership where each year you have a membership of so many points. For me I had 105,000 which I was soo excited about traveling when signing this ridiculous contract and was told I would have 21 days of vacation time plus all the perks and quarterly weekend trips for $250. Later I find out that the points package I have was the “basic package” and would only get me 5-7 days of vacation time. HMMMMM so what the hell I am paying a mortgage of 253.33 plus maintenance fees of $65 plus a processing fee of $8.00 to process my payment per month. SCAM, I don’t pay this much for the one vacation I take per year. Keep in mind I was never aware or told I had a monthly mortagage I was led to believe this was a yearly membership fee. When I asked about the cancelation process I was told by my sales rep if I was planning to cancel he would not sell to me. Of course by the time I realized that I was SCAMMED it was too late. I tried contacting Wyndham, they don’t care, went through a third party timeshare exit company for 18 months and no luck, they were also a scam. Beware of the exit companies they are just as bad as the time share companies. Needless to say I hired Finn Law Group in July of 2021 and here we are 14 months later and GUESS WHAT…. Wyndham has still not been in contact with my ATTORNEYS IN 14 MONTHS TO NEGOCIATE ME OUT OF MY TIMESHARE. WYNDHAM YOU HAVE VIOLATED THE CEASE AND DESIST LETTER FOR 14 MONTHS BY SENDING ME BILLING STATEMENTS INSTEAD OF CONTACTING MY ATTORNEY….YOU ARE NOT GETTING ANY MONEY OUT OF ME…….I keep hearing excuses about why they are not getting in touch with my attorney yet they continue to BREAK THE LAW. The best part is they turned me over to collections… yet collections has not called me or sent me notices since the cease and Desist letter but Wyndham sure has. Also I know Wyndham is actively trying to sell so if that is going to be a continued excuse for why they have not been in contact with my attorney after 14 months that’s another LIE… I KNOW THIS FIRST HAND BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN APPROCHED WHILE ON VACTION…… people need to stop buying these time shares…. Unless all you have time for is to travel and you are retired it’s not worth it….
