Heads up! There is NO ASSOCIATION between WorldMark by Wyndham and Disney. First and foremost, we were lied to and essentially held hostage during our honeymoon. We were told we would be investing in real estate that would allow us to make an additional income, but we have discovered this couldn’t be further from the truth. We are shocked at Wyndham’s (family of brands) company dishonesty, and we wouldn’t want anyone else to be exposed to the practices of this organization. They took our Drivers Licenses, opened a credit card, and sold us by telling us that there was an association with, and we would have access to Disney Resorts, Cruises, and Theme Parks. When we pointed all these things out via a letter to the company addressed to the President, we heard nothing but crickets. We named employees involved, we noted the misrepresentations related to Disney, we flagged that they opened a credit card in our name, assumingly with only the information contained on our drivers’ licenses, as we authorized nothing. Did we sign a contract, yes. Did WorldMark by Wyndham act with integrity NO!

Regardless of being an “Owner” or not Wyndham Destinations is simply going to keep talking around any issue you bring to light, if you, in a moment of weakness sign on the “dotted line”. We invested and re-invested trying to turn our ownership into what was “sold” to us. It simply can not be done, because the product simply doesn’t exist as described. Now, as result, we have been trying to simply give it back, writing to the CEO requesting assistance in expediting the inevitable, formal separation from the company. We were in fact, pleased that we received in response about a month after reaching out. However, the response is clearly a template format (you can tell that subject matters have canned responses), to our “Executive Complaint”. This response alludes to we are apparently a) liars, b) gullible and c) STUCK with what we have zero interest in keeping. The interests and fees associated with this timeshare are not what was sold to us and at no point were we made aware of the Public Offering Statement or the real cost of the loan we had just signed with Wyndham, otherwise, we would have been privy to our cancellation rights. There is NOTHING exclusive about these properties, the average person on the street can gain access at a fraction of the long-term cost. If you are that confident in what you are selling, take it back, and enjoy the monies that are 100% better return for YOU than the stock market. We will end on this note, with the FACT, that part of your selling process was total emotional manipulation! Not only did they use Ryan's status as a veteran, but they leveraged my status as a cancer patient throughout this whole process. They made us feel like they were trying to help us out and correct prior mistakes but all they did was lead me into more and more contracts with them. Unbelievable!

We were at the happiest place on Earth – Disney World. We were asked to attend a one-hour meeting at the Bonnet Creek Resort by Wyndham in exchange for a free week’s vacation. How could we pass this up? How could anything that happens in Disney World be misleading or deceitful? How could we be so gullible? I believe it is illegal to misrepresent a product or service. We were told this was an investment that can only increase in value, and we could rent all or a portion of the weeks as additional income. I believe it is illegal when one fails to disclose a material fact. Well, we were not told the interest rate of the credit card nor the loan. We were told that Wyndham has a partnership with Disney and RCI and getting availability would never be an issue once we were “deeded” owners with Wyndham. Needless to say, that was very far from the truth!

After a full day of driving, I checked in at 2:00 a.m. to a Super 8 motel in Chambersburg Pennsylvania. The girl at the counter at first said there were no rooms, then said someone had checked out and there's one available. Looking back, I can understand why they checked out. She also said there were no extra towels. What she should have said were that there were no towels at all. I paid for the room, went in, sat down on the edge of the bed, and the other side of the bed flipped up in the air. Luckily, there was a second bed so I used that. I had great difficulty sleeping, so at 6:00 a.m. since there were no towels, I grabbed my suitcase and went back to the desk. The same girl was there since it was only 4 hours later. I asked if there was any way I could get a partial refund based on broken bed, no towels, 4 hour stay. She said I would have to call later and speak to the manager. Next afternoon, when I called and spoke with the manager, he claimed that there were other rooms available. Flat out lie. I brought all of this to the attention of Wyndham on September 17th. On September 19th, I got a form letter back saying somebody will contact me within a week... Nothing. October 6th I sent another email. October 7th I got another form letter.... Nothing more. October 31st I sent this... "Hi. Can you please send another form letter back to show that nobody's listening? Thank you."... Another form letter & an apology letter from super8 which has an actual value of ZERO. Bottom line: I will sleep in my car before I give one more penny to Wyndham.

Terrible hotel, what a ripoff...no microwave, no frig, no cable TV, only 9 channels and half of those were poor reception, extremely long waits for elevators...I've stayed at cheap motels that were better than this place (NRG Stadium/Houston), pictures in the elevator of hotel restaurant food but was told that this restaurant has been closed for some time. I just assumed by name that this was a good hotel, do your research and save your money, worst experience of my life!

***SCAM ALERT*** After years of being a loyal Wyndham owner, I am severely disappointed in how they do business now. Their salespeople forced me into another purchase with false information. Between the promises of resorts being exclusive and the lie that I was buying real estate, I am ANGRY. Adding to the frustration was everything that happened afterward. Since I was told that Wyndham would buy the timeshare back, I wasted hours and hours on the phone with Customer Care. MONTHS later, I was contacted by email and was told they would not cancel or buy back the timeshare. Then I was tricked again during COVID when a salesperson told me he would refinance my last purchase, so I’d have lower interest and payments. Of course, this was a lie too. Not only did they not refinance what I had, I ended up with TWO SEPARATE LOANS!

Dear fellow Wyndham owners- the latest scam is a sales representative calling from corporate office because you got placed on the top “1%” . After a bunch of stupid questions on how you vacation, he wanted to sell on having your own account representative to help book vacations and teach how to better use points for a mere $5,700 after performing a credit check. This company is a leach. It’s not enough we got hoodwinked into buying the timeshare with the ever increasing maintenance fees, but now they want to sell me a service that should be part of good customer service. Wyndham- you suck.

Went to a timeshare sales presentation in Las Vegas. I already knew a lot about how the “timeshare” worked and was just doing it for the free show. They lied repeatedly and that was to be expected, but then when they saw I wasn’t buying, they started talking about how many of their relatives died during Covid and even brought up a relative who was dying of cancer and only had 4 weeks to live. Truly gross sales tactics.
