This company feeds on the hopes and dreams of people. I have been trying to get out of this time share with them five days after we signed because we found out the salesperson lied to you.
It has been over a year, and I still have not received a solid resolution. It is disappointing to see the cheer lack concern and communication we have experienced from this company.

Wyndham…
Where do I begin about my Wyndham experience? Well first, everything that we were promised never came to fruition. We were manipulated into sitting through a sales presentation for about 5 hours although we were assured that it would only be a 1 hour. Within the first 30 min of the presentation we were shown everything there was to see. The sales staff was so relentless and disrespectful for the simple fact that we explained over and over again that I was a single mother and could not afford a timeshare, yet they pushed us until we signed just to get out of the presentation. The sales staff offered us gifts, food, and a uber ride which looking back appears to have been a bribe. We are so disappointed that they wasted a whole day of our trip to Disney World in Orlando. We only had 3 days and the presentation robed my Sister, my Kids and myself of a peaceful vacation. Sadly we left the presentation with absolutely no idea how to work this program or what we really got ourselves into. Finally, Wyndham failed to disclose that my children would be liable for the maintenance fees, and the mortgage should something happen to me, which is completely absurd because in reality I own nothing. They are relentless in trying to get you to upgrade over the phone, even though I asked them to STOP CALLING! Now we are stuck with this worthless sale of fake ownership, shame on you Wyndham and how you take advantage of your customers for monetary gain with total disregard for the client’s life situation.

Wyndham completely took advantage of my…
Wyndham completely took advantage of my wife and me. I am retired military, having served our country with integrity and valor, yet I am now in an extremely difficult position financially thanks to this terrible company. My wife was unemployed when we purchased this timeshare and we told the salespeople we couldn’t afford it, but they pressed and pressed until we finally agreed.
They told us we wouldn’t have to make any type of down payment, however we discovered that they placed $4500 on a Barclays card we were unaware of. Imagine our surprise when the card and statement arrived in the mail! Their sales and finance people are beyond unethical as they applied 5 hours of high-pressure sales gimmicks and wouldn’t let up until we purchased. For context, they told us the presentation would only last 30 MINUTES!
Between not disclosing all the extra charges or the inflation rate of maintenance fee, this was sold to us as an investment that would pay for itself one day. If you find yourself face to face, on the phone, or see a social media promotion for Wyndham, I am WARNING you now, do not engage, otherwise you will regret it.

Untrustworthy-No real benefit
We are frustrated and disillusioned with our Wyndham Destinations ownership. We feel as though we were conned into upgrading and frankly, we want to end our relationship over it. Our initial purchase was within reason in our view, it gave us the opportunity to use the product and the perks that went along with it. Please keep in mind, we were taking a risk of sorts as we were actively trying to reestablish our credit to purchase a new home. We were very open about this with the Salesperson and Manager and believed that they presented an option that was in line with our goals. They stated that we were taking over someone else’s package, that had been sold at a price lower than currently available. We thought we had safely entered into a solid program that would allow us to vacation, utilizing the Wyndham branded hotels in addition to having access to the exclusive Wyndham Destination Resorts and all the VIP perks that went with it. We found out quickly we were wrong, when we attended the first exclusive event locally. Our understanding was that the event was free, but quickly found out that not only did we need to utilize our points but were required to attend an update. It was there, a mere 3.5 months after our initial purchase, we were told that our contract had been written incorrectly and that the “perks” were not locked in as initially sold. Long story short, they rewrote the contract, and our payments went up by 60%, and now our monthly payments are over $900 per month. That does not even include any of the extraneous booking and exchange fees. We could not finish our loan signing at the resort and had to do a scheduled call that evening over the phone with the finance team and there was no mention of our legal right to rescission. When we asked for help, we got nowhere. In hindsight, if the first contract was “wrong” then it should have been voided and we have pointed that out, but it has fallen on deaf ears.

I recently wrote a letter to Wyndham…
I recently wrote a letter to Wyndham expressing my frustrations with their company, which included a request to cancel my contract. I want NOTHING to do with them anymore! They lured us into a “tour”, that was actually a sales presentation, with free tickets to Lego Land. They had said it would only last 30-60 minutes but they did not let us leave for the next 4 HOURS. Eventually pressuring us to purchase and not taking no for an answer. They said this was an investment and we would be able to make money off it, yet I see people selling timeshares online for $1. So why have I paid $6,000 and am expected to pay more every year? Many things that should have been disclosed were conveniently left out. After typing out all of the lies they told me, they had the nerve to defend their actions, telling me they are not able to cancel. Instead, they offered me help to learn how to book a trip. Instead, of taking responsibility for their actions, the blame was put on me, stating that “the decision was made on your behalf to move forward with the purchase.” First, I was held there for over 4 hours, them not taking no as an answer, and second, I agreed to make a purchase on a timeshare with the benefits I was told about, which was not what I got! WYNDHAM, YOU ARE A SCAM!!

Wyndam Travel/Vacation Resort bonus pts SCAM
Whenever you call Wyndham Rewards points department, they try and encourage you to talk to the Wyndham Vacation / Travel dept in the lure of earning 500 free points "just for talking to them". I fell for that once and never got my bonus 500 pts. Called them again several months later and they tried to rinse and repeat same tactic saying "Lets talk again and we promise you this time we will give you the 500 points". 100% SCAM so pls

Club Wyndham is a den of thieves
Club Wyndham is a den of thieves. They do not provide truthful information and are only interested in making a timeshare sale, ie., making money. Only upon close reading and inspection of the sales documents, did we realize that a credit account had been opened in my name, that I had purchased 84,000 timeshare points, and that the maintenance fees were excessive. They are scammers, liars, and should have any real estate/sales licenses revoked. If it were possible to give them a negative rating, I would.

Timeshare Nightmare & Deceptive Sales Practices
We have had it with Worldmark by Wyndham! We expect to be released from our fraudulently obtained contract NOW! To date, we have corresponded with them at least a dozen times. We have presented them with the deceptive sales practices and the completely fraudulent actions of the Las Vegas Sales Team. We requested the cancellation of our contract in writing and all they have done is use stall tactics, claiming they are investigating the situation. We’ve had to open disputes with the credit bureaus because TWO different credit cards were opened without our knowledge. One was with Barclay’s which they used to secure monies to “close the deal”. In fact, Barclays sent us a letter stating they conducted an investigation and told us we were not responsible for the fraudulent activity and closed the account. However, a few weeks later, they sent us another letter claiming that Worldmark has provided them with proof it was not a fraudulent transaction and we owe the money. We now believe that Barclays is in collusion with Worldmark. They are actively trying to get us on the phone to talk. Forget it! We already fell for this once. They are masters of manipulation and lies are clearly common business practices.
Over the course of the five plus hour presentation, we were told by the 4-5 salespeople (among other lies) that we could exit the timeshare contract at any time. Yet, that is not in the contract. What we did discover in the contract was a 5-calendar day rescission period as outlined by Nevada Law. The "real estate agent" in charge of reviewing the contract, to “protect us”, did NOT point this out and turned out to be Worldmark management. She took 15 minutes to go over a 51-page contract. This has been a nightmare based on the lack of urgency, empathy, or follow-up from Worldmark. As if your current count of 1,163 complaints over the last 3 years and the 1-star average rating is a testament to your lack of integrity. Step up to the plate and CANCEL OUR CONTRACT!
