Wyndham Vacation took full advantage of me! I’m a Vietnam Vet, who was just trying to enjoy some vacation time, and was approached by ruthless persistent sales reps. I certainly DID NOT agree with the astronomical amount of monthly payments and maintenance fees, that are STILL being deducted from my account! I’ve spent well over a reasonable amount to have an exception be made on my release. Yet, I get jerked around by one person or another. I was also kept there almost 4x longer than I was told I would be. They NEVER disclosed my legal right to cancel period, and it took them nearly a year to get my copy of my contract contract to me. They claimed I was buying real estate and that rental income could easily be generated, which isn’t even remotely possible because I have a horrendous time booking a reservation with the serious lack of availability. This is the epitome of over promising and UNDER DELIVERING!

My whole Wyndham experience has been terrible. We have been lied to and mislead from the beginning. This was supposed to help us take vacations but has made it almost impossible to do. By costing us thousands of dollars for something we can’t even use.

After reading other reviews about Wyndham Resorts, coupled with our own experiences, we clearly see that we have fallen victim to deception, misleading information, and relentless tactics. We were initially enticed into an allegedly "informative" timeshare presentation that stretched for an exhausting 4.5 hours, despite being promised it would not exceed 2 hours. Wyndham's sales team employed dishonest tactics, including false assurances of a "buyback" program, misleading claims about exclusive property access, and an unwarranted sense of urgency in decision-making. Financially, we were blindsided by escalating maintenance fees and a lack of essential documents like truth in lending information. Our legal right to rescind the contract within a specific timeframe was never disclosed. The promised rental income from our timeshare proved to be unattainable. Wyndham's sales team displayed a concerning level of dishonesty throughout our experience. Wyndham has breached many ethical violations, and we hope our concerns are not taken lightly by anyone interested in signing a contract with them.

Our experience with Wyndham was a nightmare from the start. At a presentation in Panama City, we were deceived by their sales staff, who promised us a timeshare investment that would allow us to travel to any Wyndham location—a blatant lie. The total cost of our purchase was obscured, with undisclosed interest rates and loan terms. Feeling trapped during the three-hour-long presentation, we caved and bought a "starter" package, but the contract signing left us confused and uncertain. Availability for resorts was non-existent, and maintenance fees were way higher than promised. Subsequent vacations were marred by forceful sales presentations. In Myrtle Beach, declining further purchases led to rude treatment from their staff. In 2022, pressured into upgrading our points at Bonnet Creek, the promised improvement in availability never materialized. The final blow came during a Williamsburg meeting, where we learned our purchase was not deeded property as stated initially, but a mere "certificate." They threatened steep fee increases if we didn't upgrade again. Wyndham's continuous lies, manipulations, and lack of customer care have left us demanding the immediate termination of our agreement. Don't fall for Wyndham's deceptive tactics. Avoid this predatory timeshare scheme and explore better, honest travel options elsewhere.

STAY AWAY FROM THE WAIKIKI WYDHAM SCAMMERS. We were leaving breakfast at orchids and missed two hours of our cabana rental. we only listened beacuse we were going to do a tour booking and then they try to sell us on a three day trip and $150 giftcard. our breakfast cost more than that. we are young but very financially successful and I think it’s a shame that the employees need to sell the scam and it looks like they are targeting minorities and older people to buy into this. We walked out and just wanted to get away because the guy was hounding me about trying to work for a meeting I had within that time. Sorry sitr but if I had missed that meeting I would’ve missed out about $10,000. . Extremely pushy and wasted our time. please don’t fall for this, the rental they showed us was outdated and nowhere near the water. get yourself a marriott or credit card that rewards to for traveling.By the way we walked out on that BS we were like please we will gobe you 150 so we can leave, we dipped without taking the “gifts.”

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Wyndham and warn others against doing business with them. What began as a seemingly innocent opportunity turned into a distressing encounter filled with deceit and manipulation. During a vacation, we were enticed into a Wyndham seminar. Sales representatives Anastasiia and Dalton coerced us into a contract that deviated from our verbally agreed upon agreed terms. Fatigue and my girlfriend's health issues were exploited during hours of waiting and rushed contract signing. Upon reviewing the contract, we discovered discrepancies, an unauthorized credit card, and the realization that we were sold a timeshare under false pretenses. This experience left us feeling conned and preyed upon. We demand immediate contract termination. Wyndham's deceptive practices have shattered our trust, and rectification is essential.

Beware of Wyndham's deceitful tactics! My encounter in July, turned into a nightmarish sales trap. Promised River Walk tickets for a presentation, I was subjected to high-pressure manipulation by their salespeople. They exploited our family's aspirations, concealed fees and obligations, and ignored our financial constraints. The relentless pressure led to signing, only to discover hidden costs and rushed explanations by one of their closers. Wyndham's lack of transparency, deceptive sales tactics, and disregard for honesty left us financially burdened and deeply disillusioned. Dreams of going to Rome and the Virgin Islands have been crushed thanks to Wyndham. I urge everyone to steer clear of this company's unethical practices. Termination of our contract is the only just solution. Don't let their tactics trap you too. How does Wyndham get away with this? Clever loopholes and wordy gimmicks. No matter what they offer, don’t go to their sales meetings. It’s not worth it. Look at what other people are saying, this is clearly a scam! The government needs to step in and stop these crooks. I look forward to seeing the day they shut this racket down and I get my money back. I never would have agreed to anything if they didn’t outright lie. Shame on Wyndham and their sleezy tricks!

I have been an owner with Whyndham for the past 18 yrsand it wasn't until my last upgrade in December where they have shown their true colors. AT the last meeting I was practically detained where they would not let me go until I purchased more points. They kept me there for over 3 hrs with several salespeople bombarding me with an overload of false information. They lied to me about receiving rental income, it being a deeded property, and that this was an investment. I would expect that being an owner for 18 yrs would mean I would be treated withrespect and not lied to about every little thingin the update meeting. Whyndham should be ashamed of how they conduct business and treat their loyal owners. Joyce G.
