Dishonest and predatory
We are writing this review because we are frustrated with our experience at Wyndham. Their lies & broken promises have left us in a precarious financial position. We never expected to be victims of elder abuse by Wyndham employees. We were subjected to fraudulent misrepresentations and falsehoods that have put our financial security at risk. One of the salespeople, that got us in this situation to begin with assured us that the property we were considering was a deeded property, meaning it was actual real estate and that it would provide us with a secure investment opportunity. Additionally, we were informed that we could easily refinance the property through our bank or credit union. Regrettably, we later discovered that this was yet another lie and these are just two examples. Had they been honest we wouldn’t have agreed to anything. Throughout all our interactions with Wyndham, we have been consistently lied to and misled. The sales team misrepresented the ease and simplicity of Wyndham ownership at every turn. They even coached us on how to respond to questions from the loan officer, encouraging us to lie about certain financial information to ensure our qualification. We were also explicitly instructed not to disclose that we were told this would be an investment opportunity. These unethical practices have not only caused us significant financial hardship but have also destroyed our credit. If you read other reviews, you will see that we all have similar stories and at the end we were all taken advantage of. If you are considering investing in Wyndham, use this as a warning to walk away. As public servant teachers who have dedicated our lives to the betterment of society, we are disappointed to have fallen victim to greedy snake oil salesmen. We trusted Wyndham to act with integrity and provide us with a legitimate investment opportunity, only to be taken advantage of.
