As a Diamond Member,I submitted a Best Rate claim (Ref: 07482962) and got a reply right away telling me that they would contact me about the price match within 24 hours. However, they deliberatly delayed reviewing it six days later, after their competitor's lodging fare expired. Then the team told me I was not eligible to get the best rate as ”the lower rate quoted on the competing website provided could not be found.“.
They could have informed me of the result within 24 hours, so I could choose to book on another competing website and save money.
Advide: If you find a better rate, book it right away, then make a claim with Wyndham and keep the itinerary, invoice, or receipt as proof.

Horrible company
I've been a Wyndham Rewards Earner since 2021, thanks to my Wyndham credit card and frequent stays at their hotels for work. In 2023, I received a call from Wyndham Destinations offering me a 3-night, 4-day stay in Las Vegas for $100. When I called to make the reservation, I was told that I’d qualified for a $175 in gift cards, but it was contingent on our attendance at a “brief” Wyndham presentation. This seemed agreeable, so we scheduled the presentation for November 25th at 9am. Biggest mistake we have ever made!
After 5 hours of being told of the benefits of becoming "New" owners and congratulations on your "New" purchase, I voiced my skepticism about the whole process. The rep intervened, mentioning access to "Last Call" resorts, offering opportunities for rental profit to offset the maintenance fee. She explained that I could charge a higher amount than the list price when making reservations for others. Essentially, they were suggesting I use this Wyndham timeshare as a rental property to offset the maintenance fees. This suggestion was enticing, but also made me feel uneasy.
It’s been confirmed via video review of contract signing that we were not told we could terminate within 5 days as it is NOT required by Nevada law. It was stated the only way they would need to disclose the 5 days is if we asked. Beware of the loopholes people!
The sales representatives opened two credit cards without our permission, lied to us about the ‘last call’ resorts to rent out our timeshare for a profit, lied to us about using our Wyndham bonus points to offset our maintenance fees, failed to disclose our cooling off period per Nevada law, and neglected to inform us of the burden this would have on our heirs. To say we are disgusted with Wyndham is an understatement.

Takes Credits from someone with CANCER!!!
We signed on to Wyndham's two year trial program with Benny Yanty telling us that during these two years we would have 20,000 points to use on vacation. We payed $3,129 for this and would make our decision to extend or not after these two years. Unfortunately, my wife, Kristan, got cancer within a few months of us signing this deal and we had to cancel a vacation that we had to Disney, even informing them of the reason we were canceling. There was no problem in canceling as we had done it about a month out. My wife completed her thankfully completed her chemotherapy and double mastectomy, but with them finding more of the tumor in the tissue she was put on 6 more months of chemotherapy pills. My wife then got expanders put in for reconstruction surgery and we were coming up on the end of the two year trial. When we called to schedule our vacation we were told we no longer have any points but still needed to pay our remaining balance (which was at all times kept up to date). We had also been told by Benny that the amount would have no interest and would be the final amount, but this person said interest had been added and they could not see why. Annoying, but whatever, I was more irritated about no points. My wife was connected with Morgan of Owner Resolution who told us that since we had not used our points within the first year that they were taken away. He then went on to say if you want to purchase our full package though we will see what we can do about those points you had lost. When my wife tried to explain the situation to him he became very short with her saying look, if you are not going to buy anything then there is nothing I will do for you. My wife asked to speak with a supervisor and he said, “ This will not be going above me!” after more of his attitude my wife got off the phone and this is where we currently sit. I tell you this so before doing any business with this company you can think. Is this how they will treat you after they already have some of your money? Is a company capable of telling a cancer survivor, oh well, that's not our problem, one you really want to deal with? Also, do you really want to deal with someone who will tell you one thing to sign, then pull this type of stunt (we have read the contract and can not even find this clause in it)? I am currently still in the process of trying to contact a supervisor, but all members are pretty much told apparently to not let anybody speak with a supervisor under any circumstances, just to try to sell more!

Misleading, uncoorperative, and utterly disgraceful
My wife and I have not had a pleasant experience with Club Wyndham, and to be quite honest we feel that what we purchased has been highly misrepresented. We had to sit through a presentation that would allegedly serve as an investment, increase in value and easy to resell. Through our own research timeshares are being offered for a dollar online on these resale sites. No one is interested in buying. We were told that with 10,000 points a year we could book up to 5 different holiday destinations. We are only allowed to book 6 days of holiday in 2 destinations. When we tried to make a genuine exit using the “Wyndham Cares” program we encountered uncooperative behavior and delays. My wife and I were dealing with her surgeries and hospital bills, and we were rejected by Wyndham once we pressed for answers. We wrote a letter to a Mr. Michael Brown the CEO of Wyndham and have been met with no response. We have been taken advantage of and we want out of our timeshare. If we need to take this to an attorney, we are ready to fight this. Enough is enough and were not going to let Wyndham take advantage of us. Do yourselves a favor and avoid Wyndham entirely.

I am writing this review to warn others…
I am writing this review to warn others of how immoral Club Wyndham operates. Honestly it frustrates me with the fact that from the beginning it didn’t dawn on me that these people have no moral compass. My husband Chris and I were lured into attending a meeting with the promise of a free dinner and show in Las Vegas. This was all a set up to trap us for a staggering five hours with misleading and deceptive information. Peter Goe was the one who painted a pretty picture stating we would have access to travel wherever we wanted to go and that it would be perfect to visit our son in New York. We initially refused but he kept bringing down the price, eventually convincing us that this would be a great investment. To our surprise we couldn’t use it for New York because we didn’t have enough points. And even if we did, we would need to make a reservation a year in advance. Are you kidding me? Does that seem reasonable? Peter not only lied about traveling but he sold this timeshare to us as real estate and didn’t disclose the hidden fees. He failed to let us know that our interest rate was 16% and rushed us through a signing process without letting us know there was a timeframe we could cancel. Wyndham really knows how to play their game and set it up. Don’t even bother staying here. These people will try to take your money and make you sign a contract without properly explaining what you are really buying. They will be hearing from me AGAIN.

Terrible Experiences with Wyndham
I have become overwhelmingly frustrated with Wyndham and for the life of me can’t even understand how I allowed these people to scam me repeatedly. I called the corporate office to try and rectify what happened to me and they refused to be of any assistance. My first encounter was back in 2018 or 2019, one of those years when I took my son to the beach for Thanksgiving. I was told I needed to attend a presentation and so I did. The rep who assisted me really played her “ I’m here for you” demeanor and told me that because of my excellent credit rating, I “qualified” for an exclusive Margaritaville offer. She sold me the points and I found out I couldn’t use them because the programs they had depended on the type of points I had. Wyndham then had me attend another meeting, to which I went and expressed my frustration. One of the managers came and said the answer to my problem is to upgrade using my points and so I trusted them. That night I questioned some things in the contract which the manager said were minor administrative issues that would be rectified and resent back to me. Never received a contract. I had another bad encounter in Hawaii with a really pushy rep and she was trying to upgrade me, but I said no. I know she messed with my information because I received a call that some of my paperwork was missing, and my membership status dropped from Silver to Bronze status. This entire thing really has affected me emotionally and financially. I regret having any dealing or relationship with this company.

★★DO NOT BOOK WorldMark Orlando Kingstown Reef★★
I was very satisfied until 10 a.m. on the 20th. But around 10 a.m., the staff knocked on my door and I didn't know if the staff would knock on my room, so I didn't go out. I never thought anyone would knock on my door because the front desk staff had already informed me that there would be no housekeeping when I checked in. But I got a phone call and told me to leave. I said I had a reservation until the 21st, but the staff told me to leave until the 20th. I said I had a reservation again until the 21st, but the staff shouted out loud to leave the room. I was so scared and asked if I could extend it for another day. But the staff screamed for me to keep leaving without even checing if it was possible to extend it for another day. So I said I would leave and the staff told me to check out within an hour. After hanging up, I checked my reservation again and my reservation was until 21st not 20th so I called the front desk again. I said that the reservation was made until the 21st and the staff said would call me back again. After three minutes, she called me again and said that I was right and that my reservation was until 21st. Then, she said that the payment was made until the 20th, and then she said sorry. The first thing she said about the payment not an apology.Turns out, it wasn't even a payment-related problem. I made the payment exactly until the 21st and there was no problem with my reservation. The staff screamed at me sooo much so I was scared and my heart was racing a lot.I still feel terrible thinking about the situation. I made a lot of good memories in Orlando, but on the last day, she ruined everything. She didn't listen to me or check the system accurately before telling me to leave. She apologized me very late. This seems to be a very problem with the system and the staff. I don't know what the employee's name is, but I'm very offended and I don't want to go to the worldmark again.

Avoid This Business !
I am beyond upset and frustrated with the timeshare agreement we entered with Wyndham. My wife and I are 88 & 81 years old respectively. We are both retired and enjoy traveling and were hopeful that an upgrade of our membership with Wyndham would satisfy our appetite for flexible travel, but as it turns out, we subscribed to the opposite of what we were looking for. To our dismay, we recently discovered that our children and grandchildren will be burdened with the responsibility of paying for the timeshare after our passing. We didn't know that our children and grandchildren would have to continue paying for the timeshare when we passed on. We didn’t know what would happen to payment obligations after we paid the balance of $26,324.41. This revelation was never communicated to us, leaving us feeling concerned for our loved ones. Moreover, we were not informed of our right to cancel the agreement within the specified five-day period in the state of Idaho, as outlined in the agreement itself. This prevented us from understanding the importance of thoroughly reviewing and discussing the terms before the deadline expired. In all honesty, we are not sure what they have done here is legal, but it is surely dishonest and manipulative. To misrepresent the product, process and costs to people our age most likely falls under the flag of ELDER ABUSE. Please take care when dealing with timeshare companies and especially Wyndham.
