Not what they tell you
On November 6, 2025, my partner and I attended a presentation at Club Wyndham Grand Desert in Las Vegas, lured in with show tickets, dining vouchers, and gaming credits. What followed was a deceptive, high-pressure ordeal that we deeply regret. We made it clear from the start we were not interested in purchasing. That didn't stop the sales team from keeping us there for six exhausting hours. Our questions about costs were repeatedly deflected. We were told maintenance fees were fixed and would never increase. We were told the timeshare could be rented out as an investment and passed to our children worry-free. All of which proved to be false. Promised 12,000 bonus points were never delivered. An RCI week we were told was complimentary came with a $450 fee we weren't informed of. Housekeeping fees were never mentioned. We were never told we had a five-day right to cancel. When we tried to leave to get food, we were told doing so would forfeit the offer entirely. We felt trapped. During signing, the contract was rushed through with little explanation. Afterward, the salesman privately coached us not to mention the rental investment pitch. This was a clear sign they knew those claims were improper. We've spent roughly $6,400 and used the timeshare once. Las Vegas resorts show as fully booked for two years in the Wyndham app, yet appear available on Booking.com, contradicting everything we were told about owner exclusivity. We were misled and pressured into a contract we never would have signed with honest information. We discourage anyone else to entertain the idea of making any purchase with this company.
