Firstly, I do love my boots. They're cute, the toe box is perfect, and they're relatively comfortable. Shipping was great, and I really loved the packaging - it made this more of an experience, rather than just a transaction. I do think changes could be made to provide more arch support, but for a day in the office or a quick lunch out these are wonderful.

I purchased the Roam Slip-On Sneakers & the Alpine Bootie both in size 10ww. They both fit well with a good size toe box. However, the Alpine Booties fit much better. They did not have any additional inserts and are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I would definitely recommend these shoes & would say they are true to size. The Roam Slip-On Sneakers have an optional insert. However, when wearing the sneakers with the insert, the toe box feels much smaller and makes wearing for longer periods uncomfortable as the toes rub against the shoes. When wearing without the insert, the shoes are too big and my feet slide in them and they're not as comfortable. I would recommend these shoes as well, but would say to order a half size larger if you intend to use the insert or order a half size smaller if you do not intend to use the insert.

*updating to 4 stars- after I wrote this review I got an email processing the refund on the shoes I returned. I appreciated that. (Updated 12/25) I found WYDR through Instagram, and the concept really resonated with me. A shoe brand that focuses on wide feet and heavier individuals is something I genuinely want to support, especially since wide shoes can be so hard to find. I ordered three items and two of them were definite wins. The shoes I kept were comfortable, well made, and did exactly what I hoped they would. Unfortunately, the third pair did not work out. I am a true 9.5, and since only whole sizes were offered, the fit just was not right for me. I followed their return process for that pair, but the experience was a hassle and, ultimately, I never received a refund. That part was really disappointing and overshadowed what could have been a much better overall experience. While I do like the shoes I kept and think the brand has a strong mission, the return experience and lack of resolution mean I will likely avoid repurchasing. I hope they improve their sizing options and customer service processes because the product itself has a lot of potential.

The shoes are perfect, the toe box room with modern styles is everything I’ve ever been looking for. The shipping is just atrocious. But after I tried on my two pairs I bought, I willingly went and got another one so clearly for the right product I’ll put up with bad shipping lol. Edit. Oh! Editing to add more details about the comfort. The heels are little bit more heavy than what I’m used to, but they’re most comfortable things in the world, that was another deciding factor about me getting another pair. & now sizing. The styles I wanted did not have half sizes. I would say I’m usually very consistently a US 8.5 in women’s. This usually translate over to a EU39 for me. Typically if a brand does not have an 8.5 I’ll size up to a 9, but when I looked at their chart and saw the 8 was equivalent to an EU39 I took a leap of faith and was correct about it being a perfect fit.

Love the quality of these shoes and how wide they are. Lots of the reviews said to order your normal size you order but I highly recommend sizing down. I usually order size 11 in everything but I would say they are way too big and I should have gotten a 10

A new shoe brand that’s trying hard to offer stylish options for those of us with wide feet and legs is very much appreciated. They’re doing a nice job, and are working hard at being very earnest at making sure their customers are satisfied. I wear a US10.5WW and had good success with the 10 Taylor loafer, especially when I added the included insert to keep my heel from slipping too much. I bought the metallic silver color and not only are they fun and sharp, I get great compliments on them every time I wear them. So far I’ve been pleased with the quality of construction too. I’m excited to try other styles. So far I haven’t had luck with the boots fitting as well as I’d like, but I am extremely picky, and Wydr has been really great at working with me on exchanges. My only complaint is I wish shipping times were a touch faster.
