Brandon (Project Director) lied to me repeatedly, for three weeks. Mike Foster was just as pathetic as him! I was closing out my 8 book- book series. I wrote 4 books in 9 months and a total of 8 books. I followed up with Writers Clique based on the previous project director named Ben, but i Brandon took over and promised me the world. Yet gave me a grain of salt and repeated lies. He promised for 3 weeks, I would have my covers completed. I have a pre order sale on November 1 and I didn't get one cover. I couldn't even get my editing done, I couldn't get proof that the editing was being done, or a deadline for my edits. I am releasing my books on Christmas Day and if i continued to use Writers Clique they would have sabotaged me. I create my covers and they even refused to allow me to work with graphic designers. After I have it in writing. They never kept their word. And then had the audacity to get attitudes, and asked me, why was I upset? I got nothing for three weeks but I did get my refund. And I do intend to sue them for breach, for my time, my craft, and because they sabotaged my work. They didn't my work, and said "only best sellers get to work with Graphics Artist. Even after i was lied too by both Brandon and Mike Foster about meeting with the designer, Mike told me no! And I thanked him because he had just help me to sue him for breach of contract and gave me all the written and verbal evidence to prove my case! How dumb is that! Do not hire this company, they will lie to you string you along. and make you feel like you're doing something wrong for holding their lying tails accountable! A waste of time! But, Lawsuit coming! The levels that these scammers will go to in order to make their lies sound good. Nice try scammers. Hi Jennifer, I am surprised by the way you have dealt with us. The contract clearly states that both parties can part ways in case of dissatisfaction. You were not being satisfied with any of our efforts so we had to cancel the agreement and process the refund immediately. Posting a negative review against us has really tarnished our reputation as I thought you are a gentle lady. I would appreciate if you can take down the review that you have posted and let me know once it is done. Thank you Please dont act like a devil. I understand we were unable to comply by the instructions and it was getting delayed by all means. That is why we immediately cancelled the order and processed your refund. That does not give you the liberty to post anything against us Jennifer. I will appreciate if you can take down the review Mike, The only way that I will take the truth down is my project (editing and formatting),is completed in full. And, Mike trust me when I say I will thoroughly check line by line to ensure it is correct and not further sabotaging my project. Thanks for confirming once again the lapse of your responsibilities and failure kn your part to do what you were contracted to do. You and Brandon treated me like garbage, delayed my project and out right lied repeatedly to me for 3 weeks. So Mike you want the review deleted? Do the job I paid for free of charge, correct, and as a priority. Otherwise the truth stands and furthermore accompanies my intent to sue your unprofessional business. Too many sales calls. It took to long to review manuscript. The Book was never published

Writer's Clique is, at best, a waste of money. You could hire a book designer and editor on your own (via reedsy,upwork, or a similar freelancer site) and then have them upload and order books for you--at a fraction of whatever Writer's Clique will charge you. At worst, Writer's Clique is a group of scammers--none of them based in the US despite their fake "American" names and fake addresses listed on their sites. They'll give you a high-pressure sales pitch, drop the price if you don't bite right away to try and sway you, and then never deliver the final books. Oh, and they may use stolen credit cards to order your books from various self-publishing services online, leaving your name, address, phone number, and book associated with a fraudulent order. *I've experienced their fraudulent practices firsthand*. Stay away from them.

I used them to market my book. It was totally disappointing. I mean, 2 books sold within the period and that was because of contacts I made. Everything I signed up for has not been done. My project manager was "promoted" and I was passed off to 3 representatives that I have difficulty making contact with. I had concerns early on because and I was told to trust the process. Worst 5000.00 spent

I have not yet received the refund I requested from WriterClique because of their failure to fulfill the contract we signed or to do the work they promised. Nothing has changed with that. However, I have just been in contact with another writer with a fraud experience similar to mine. He was defrauded of $4500 by them. The same MO. The same false promises to pay. The same young guys with midwest US sounding names (Bob Smith, Jack Hudson, etc.) They sound sincere but they are not telling anything close to the truth, Writers Clique is sham, a fraud. We have contacted the FBI and were told that it was useless to file a complaint for so little money. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD ANYONE ON WRITERSCLIQUE SAYS. They take your money on false premises and at some point they do not deliver. I lost $3500. $3500 I could never have afforded to loose. To those of you who have posted 4 and 5 star reviews, do us all a favor and post the ISBN number of the book they published for you so we can check it out. You can find mine in my previous posts. I was asked to calll and as soon as they answered they started screaming over the phone cursing saying we are not kids and been doing this for long time. asked where I was from and they hung up phone after insulting me on my first call. I didnt even get chance to speak. to most bizarre interaction. stay away at all costs

I was sold by WC back in Oct. 2023 by Sales with a Money Back Guarantee if I was not satisfied. My project is a simple book project edits and cover redesign, and to get my book listed on Amazon by early December 2023. I was promised this was easy to do and complete in time. I was hesitant since there were several negative complaints regarding WC. However, Sales was convincing and no worries with Money Back GTD. I was assigned to designer who I had to chase for my book drafts to review. Each time I was sent back Cover drafts with "errors" and my requests for edits were incomplete. This was very frustrating as her communication was poor and I believed her English was lacking in comprehension. This went on for several weeks with just the Cover redesign and I missed my December deadline!!! Ted Baker - Director of Operations convinced me to give them a second chance, no worries our Money Back GTD is in place. This turned out to be false promises, designer had left, and a new designer was assigned. Then they closed for Christmas for several weeks. January 2024 another new designer was assigned, made several similar errors with my book content draft. I continued to chase and request for updates and draft reviews. All falling on deaf ears ??? WC is a poorly run company with weak inexperience staff. Mgmt provides empty promises throughout. I have requested my Money Back GTD and was promised my REFUND back in MID-FEBRUARY. I am STILL WAITING for my REFUND, March 26th, which should ONLY take 5 business days. WC has FAILED me EVERY STEP of the WAY... BEWARE !!! They are NOT responding to my UPDATE REQUEST for my REFUND. I have wasted so much TIME, ENERGY, and MONEY dealing with Writers Clique Staff - UGH !!!

Promises are not being kept Rated 1 out of 5 stars I posted this two weeks ago and it was removed. WHY? I am not getting the services I paid for. Publication in IngramSparks is not complete and I have been told for over a month it would be done, but it hasn't. I did most of it myself and shouldn't have had to. I paid good, hard-earned money for your company to do it. Also, I have been denied the date marketing began and access to detailed report of this marketing. I paid 1800 dollars for this service, and so far, nothing has been given to me. I was also told, more than once, that I would receive a copy of all sales and royalties up to this point. Needless to say, that hasn't happened either. My next step is to file a complaint with the BBB. I will also file a review with Alli reporting your company as a scam publisher. Y'all have until this upcoming Friday to get this mess straight. The editor did his job, and I am grateful. However, everything else is a bust so far. I created my own cover page since they offered covers that didn't go with my story. I had to redo all entries in KDP due to the wrong format Writer's Clique used. I started my publishing in IngramSparks but could not get the cover page set right. I tried 10 times in between promises that "it will be done this week." I was told everyone in publishing was going on a week's vacation at the same time, so I'd have to wait another two weeks. This is when I tried to upload it all on IngramSparks. I am still waiting on it to be done. I paid WritersClique 1200 dollars for this, and I did most of the work. Now for the marketing portion which costs 1800 bucks. I was sent my author's pages to approve, and I did that. That was two weeks ago, and I am still waiting for access to it. I have been denied knowing the starting date of the three-month period of marketing my book and was told "don't worry about it, we are monitoring if for you." I have also been promised a complete report of my sales and royalties, two weeks now, and I still have not received it. Nothing else, as far as I know, has been done in the marketing of my novel. I have been denied access to my domain name web site as well as a complete record of what marketing has been done up to this point. I paid for this, so I have the right to receive access to my marketing account. The Above was my previous complaint, now, I am forced to add to it. My project manager stopped replying to my emails and texts. When I finally got in touch with her, she said, “I literally have 100s of clients and don’t have the time I need to answer all emails and texts. WELL WAKE UP! I AM STILL A PAYING CLINET AND AM OWED THE SERVICES I HAVE PAID FOR. A project manager should not take on more clients than he/she can manage in a professional manner. I have been asking her and her assistant in Marketing when the rest of the agreement concerning book sales and professional reviews I was guaranteed will be done. There is a little over a month left on the three-month marketing serviced I have paid for. Neither of these people will answer my emails. I was asked to remove this complaint, and I did in good faith. This will remain until all promises are kept to my satisfaction. The 26 books that have been sold were to my family and friends. Not one book has been sold through WritersClique. I have been told by my project manager not to worry they are handling it. So far, I don’t see any progress on their part. Sure the websites are done, and I am grateful, but no sales in two months on WritersClique’s behalf is not good enough for the money I paid. I am tired of being told not to worry and it takes time. Time is almost at an end, and I want the services I paid good hard-earned money for. If the sales and professional book reviews don’t happens, I will be filling an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have all the emails, texts, and paperwork to validate my claim.
