Watch out for the sneaky annual auto renew. Just received a $399 charge for software that I stopped using a long time ago.
Response from WPFormsApr 14, 2023
Any sort of sneakiness is not what we're going for and 100% against our core values.
We send an email reminder out to all customers before their subscription renews so there are no surprises and the subscription can be cancelled ahead of time if that's what's best.
That said, I know the state of email can lead to a packed inbox and those reminder emails can be missed. But, our 14 day no question asked refund policy also covers renewal payments.
So, if you haven't yet, just reach out to our support team and we'll get you taken care of and have the refund processed.

Shockingly bad
Shocking. You can get the same service for free via other plugins.
Auto renewed and doubled the price.
Beware fake reviews, this is a terrible plugin.

Thanks for the feedback.
I'm sorry for any confusion about our renewals! New customers and licenses take advantage of an introductory discount, but that does not apply to renewals.
We include information about this on our pricing page, checkout page, and, I believe, a few other places.
We're not in business to pull a fast one over on people. We want to have a great product and earn our customers, which is why we have the 14-day refund guarantee.
If you have feedback on how we can improve communication around it, please reach out. We appreciate all insights, especially the critical ones.
Thanks!

The worst forms plugin ever
It's a pity that I can't show here how the fields look when editing the form and how they look on a live page (I use Elementor page builder). While the form is being created, everything is O.K., but in the front end it looks terrible - the fields are mixed in places, and they appear not under each other, but in one line and are completely distorted.
About Reply from WPForms.
WP's response to my review completely convinced me that it is better not to use their products because:
1. Theme or plugin conflict is mentioned as one of the possible reasons. I use the Astra theme and Elementor page builder (no additional plugins installed). If WP Forms conflicts with one of the most common themes and page builder - well, no comments;
2. Support is offered and a support service link is provided. But when entering this link in the browser, it is redirected to WPForms Pro login where only those who have purchased WPForms Pro can receive support. Respectively - if I want WP Forms to correct the bugs of the free version, I have to buy WPForms Pro. I think that the comments here are also unnecessary.
3. No WPForms form styling. The default settings (WPForms > Settings > General > Include Form Styling) gives the worst result. A bit better result is when using: WPForms > Settings > General > Include No styling. Again - no comments.

Hi Armīns,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your honest feedback. I'm really sorry you had a sub-par experience, which certainly falls short of the high expectations we have for ourselves and WPForms. That said, open feedback is how we improve.
The a styling issue you described while embedding your form on your site is not the expected or intended behavior. We have come across a few similar issues in the past and our support team is always happy to help with these kinds of conflicts. From our experience, this conflict can be caused by one of these reasons:
No WPForms form styling:
You can check if this is the case by heading to WPForms > Settings > General > Include Form Styling. The default value is Base and form theme styling and if the other choices are selected, it is likely that some styles are not filtering through.
Theme or plugin conflict:
While our plugin is designed with the best coding standards in mind, we have come across a few plugins that automatically override our default styling which ultimately breaks the layout. We recommend creating a site backup and then following this troubleshooting guide (https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-test-for-theme-or-plugin-conflicts/) to identify the culprit.
But most of all, we are keen on getting to the bottom of this issue, would you mind writing to us through our support form (https://wpforms.com/account/support/)? Our support team is happy to investigate deeper - I'm confident we can uncover the root of the issue and get this resolved.
Thanks!

WP Forms has kept my credit card on…
WP Forms has kept my credit card on file with NO authorization and charged me $500 without my use of their services or knowledge of this payment -- this is a scam, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BILLING INFORMATION. I have submitted to their support team, but of course they charged me on a Sunday, and there is no support available.
Response from WPFormsMar 14, 2022
Hi Christina,
I really apologize for the confusion about the renewal charge!
As mentioned in your support ticket, we've processed your refund and account deletion request. I appreciate you giving us a shot.
When purchasing a WPForms license, they will auto-renew the following year (https://a.supportally.com/S1bkA8).
Customers can cancel at anytime from their account dashboard. We're not in the business of being deceitful and do provide more information in our documentation (https://wpforms.com/docs/how-to-cancel-your-wpforms-account/).
It's important to use that we provide this option to our customers!
I apologize if any of this wasn't clear or upfront, because we're definitely not looking to mislead anyone on this.
If there's anything that you feel could have helped make this clearer, we'd appreciate your feedback.
I hope this helps!

WPForms Paywalls Responses to Your Forms
I spent time creating forms in WPForms Lite (the free version), and deployed them thinking I would get to see the respondents. I went to check after receiving entries, and was presented with a paywall. The WPForms team photo has them all wearing shirts that say "people first", but tricking users into investing time in form creation only to hold the responses hostage is exactly the opposite of that sentiment. Very disappointed. I'm going to avoid every product this company has created.

the G-d particle
I was looking at this site unfortunately the amount for the software $199.00 was too expensive for me. However, I registered on their company wanting to read their blogs etc. I swear under oath I never added my personal banking details it must have been gotten by another purchase or gateway that uses the camera or some fancy algorithm that we are not yet aware of. This is the truth and nothing but the truth. The 3 digits required to complete a sale are not added to one’s browser or account no matter what was purchased. I owned the company no monies and have never purchased anything from them in the past or future dated. If I am telling the truth and the seller is telling the truth we have a massive problem on our hands.
Plus, I already new that this software was not the best option I was reading the blogs only taking certain info. to heart as I leaned during my almost 350 days with WordPress *(different company) That many of the 3rd party software options available to use and upgrade are developed and the website ‘WP.Beginner,’ Word Press beginner a blog and website giving advise to newbies also deleloped the or some of the primarily plugins required so that means the staff are obviously been trained not so much to help the beginner as they have no experience I generalize but what is most important I believe is to use the site as a magnet to sell one’s own software and products. This is a direct conflict of interest. It is like an App that finds all the alcoholics and markets alcohol claiming it will not aggravate their condition some may believe the App had some divinity but in instead of the G-d particle it has what I believe 110% conflict of interest the beginner the target with the knowledge of the divine.
