I signed up for the FREE trial to see if it was worth the money. My transaction was declined due to insufficient funds. Why were they trying to take money if they say they wont charge till after 7 days are up? I tried to read all fine print and didnt see anything about that, i didnt see about 7 searches ethier. So glad i was declined! I live on a fixed income. I cant afford loosing 40 right now. Your better off reading the reviews more so than thier fine print! Then u will know what the deal is.

Beware - Worthpoint says you have a 7 day free trial period to test our the site, but in all reality, if you use the service during that time, they charge you. So when I discovered Worthpoint just recycles eBay sold prices on their site, I cancelled after 2 days. I was given a PARTIAL refund for using the service. That is just plain false advertising, and when I tried to speak with management about it, that person was "out of the office". Worthpoint should be named Worthless. Just use eBay and stay away from Worthless.

Andrea, we are sad to hear that you had a bad experience with our site. We do everything we can to provide the best care for our customers and value a great relationship with our members. There are a few things in your review that are inaccurate based on further research of what you have described. I will try to clarify in great detail so that users reviewing the site will have facts to go along with the opinions in this review. 1) Worthpoint clearly says you have "7 days or 7 price lookups" This is clearly marked here: https://www.worthpoint.com/product/index at the top of the screen. It is also listed in bold and red on the second page of the registration when you purchase a subscription to the worthopedia price guide. Our records show you purchased a worthopedia price guide subscription and you received the confirmation email that says the following: "If you have signed up for our price guide trial you have 7 lookups to use within 7 days for the selected product." This helps clear up a little confusion on your first point. 2) Second opinion that is incorrect: "Worthpoint just recycles eBay sold prices on their site" This is incorrect as you can filter out ebay data and there are millions of prices from our other data partners and auction houses. This can be found here: https://www.worthpoint.com/data-partners You canceled after 2 days per your review but you also looked up 7 prices and you clicked the "Activate Now" button. This button pops up and clearly says "you will be charged." You clicked that button as recorded in our system here: "User has manually clicked to Activate now." You logged in twice after that and then finally canceled your account online but after you already used your 7 lookups. You actually went online to cancel 2 days after you used all your lookups and activated. There is nothing false about our advertising. You actually spoke with one of our customer care leads and I see in your account that not only were you partially refunded as a courtesy but you also received prorated access for the rest of the month to explore Worthpoint.com free of charge. Trust pilot won't remove this inaccurate and has reduced the number of ways a legitimate business can report an inaccurate post, however, WorthPoint will always make sure to take care of our members and make sure future members aren't dissuaded by false statements from disgruntled members.

I would like to be able to use the service I have been paying for these past two years! Auto pay at up each quarter. Problem is, late 2016 I could no longer access my account. Haven't been able to reach a person, just receive emails from company saying it's fixed. Well it is not and I'm very unhappy to have to continually receive emails only. Update... Received a call from Worthpoint after posting this review. Refunded one quarter payment and I canceled the account. Thanks.

Customer service for me was awesome-way beyond my expectations!! Went above and beyond to get my account straightened out. Selling antiques and collectibles, I need Worthpoint for getting accurate pricing, when I didn't have it, some things I was just guessing on the price and that can cost me money. Worthpoint goes back years and when you have an item that you can't find any comps on, it's usually there on Worthpoint. A must have tool for me!! Don't want to be without it! It's information that I can't usually get anywhere else.

Just signed up for Worthpoint. I was very happy with the information available until I realized that much of it must be actually inaccurate. Worthpoint seems to report asking prices from Ebay rather than sold prices. Ebay will strike through an asking price and indicate "best offer accepted" so that you know the seller did not get asking price. This reality is not conveyed by Worthpoint. For example, I sold a Bruno Zupan painting on Ebay a year or two ago. I asked for $6,000 but accepted a best offer for a lesser amount. Yet Worthpoint reports the painting as sold for $6,000. This is a huge problem.

Anthony Joseph, Thank you for using our services. We apologize that you feel your painting price from "a year or two ago" was inaccurate. There are a combination of things happening here that I would like to explain as well as enlighten other users who may come across your review. "Inaccurate Sold Prices" is actually a false statement and to generalize an entire website of over 365 million items and over 100,000 marks, autographs, patterns, and symbols does future members of our community a disservice. 1) Our site data does not come from just eBay. Our data also comes from partners that you can find more information about here: https://www.worthpoint.com/data-partners. This means the concept of a "best offer" is specific to certain ebay listings. 2) eBay has not always made "best offer" available so telling users that all data is inaccurate is very incorrect. 3) In certain scenarios, transactions conclude with a "best offer." This is a small number of the 365 million items on our website and we will indicate when those rare occasions occur. I hope this provides more insight to current and future users of the WorthPoint community about sold prices. WorthPoint also provides the ability to report a listing if it's inaccurate, protected, or there are any issues. It would have been wonderful if you would have notified us of any perceived discrepancy so that we could have discussed with you and rectified the situation for our community. We are in the business of information and making sure it's accurate with the help of our members.
