Worthpoint Refused To Remove A Private Transaction
I purchased a rare intricate miniature altar from an English Antique Shop. Later, someone told me that the same item was now featured in Worthpoint. I called them from Europe and asked to take the item from site, since I said explicitly said that the purchased must not be shown including the price. No one was picking up the phone. The call were made EST thus 6 hours behind CET. Emails were sent but to no avail. Then my friend who saw the item also complained that his card was still charged by the company despite of cancellation. He was forced to cancel the card. Avoid Worthpoint because their main aim is to scam collectors. The Call Agents were incompetent and the group had simply no guts in taking money.
