I was recruited into World Financial Group (WFG) and paid $157.50 to join as an associate. I was told I’d receive mentorship and training, but the responsibilities, licensing process, and overall expectations were not properly explained to me upfront. Within just a few days of signing up, I realized the opportunity was nothing like what was described. I immediately requested a refund first in January 2024, and again recently but WFG has completely ignored my messages. Their contract says nothing about the fee being non-refundable, and I never used any of their services or accessed any training. Still, they refuse to refund the money or even respond. I’ve now filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. In my opinion, this company operates in a misleading way that takes advantage of people looking for better opportunities. Be very cautious before giving them any money and ask everything in writing before signing up.

This is one of the best platforms for multi-handed and generational income. God gave me this opportunity to succeed, from being a common person to being an entrepreneur.

I started as a client. As what I know, a lot of WFG agents were clients to start with. My friend got licensed and approached me offered to share what she learned. in the half hour, I've learned more what to do with my money than I've learned from university and work places. She helped me created a plan and automated the set ups. That was in 2019. by the end of 2023, my net worth has doubled. I approached her and said I wanted to do what she did for me, for other people. I got my license and I now teaching others knowledge and tools. For those who had bad experience about the business or people in the business, I can see why. It's unfortunate because WFG has over 86,000 independent licensed agents, and not everyone represents WFG's mission of "no family left behind". but the same problem exist in all other business too. all other banks, retail businesses, or direct sell business etc. Unfortunately I also see people who start with WFG with a mindset of making easy money or work very parttime expecting 6 figure income. There is no such a thing. Any good business requires either a large capital or lots effort with willingness to learn and grow. If you expect it be easy, this is not for you. but if you want to truly build something your own, pays you good income, and your income increases even after you stop working, and you are willing to put in the work and be patient, this is for you!

I was approached about an IT-related opportunity with World Financial Group (WFG) while I was a student looking for part-time work in Canada. Initially, I was told that if I had basic computer knowledge or an IT background, I’d be a good fit. This sounded like a great opportunity for someone just starting out. After contacting them, I was connected with someone named Tejaswi Sindhuri, who said she worked under an agency within WFG. On the second day, her boss also joined a call and explained the business model again — which sounded more like financial services and recruiting than IT work. Soon after, they asked me to pay a fee to create a WFG account, supposedly to start learning their process. I paid, thinking I was being onboarded into a legitimate opportunity. But what followed raised serious red flags: I was given a script and told to contact my friends and family to see if they needed insurance. I was pressured to make calls and bring others into the system. The original claim about an "IT role" turned out to be completely misleading. At this point, I realized it was not a tech job at all, but more of a recruitment-driven, sales-based model, where you're encouraged to bring others in and sell insurance — not what I signed up for. I refused to continue. This experience felt like a trap, especially targeting students or newcomers who are eager for work. I would strongly advise others to do thorough research before getting involved, especially if you’re asked to pay upfront or are being pressured to recruit others

Reading these reviews, doesn't it seem odd that the vast majority of 5 star reviews are from people writing from an active employee's perspective? Happy customers, I might believe... Happy, active employees writing truthful online reviews in mass, I find harder to believe... If employees genuinely love it this much more than the customer, I would have to ask why?

WFG is a multi-level-marketing scam. Current employees will try to recruit you, but in the end, going after financial freedom is like chasing a carrot on a fishing line. Everything about it screams "gambler's fallacy". Stay far away.
