I do design consulting work as an electronics engineer, branching into firmware and related software sometimes depending on customer needs. I've used at least half a dozen different platforms and tools that combine various aspects of project management, communication, time tracking, and billing, and I've checked out dozens more without trying them. Moxie is the first one I've tried that actually does everything I want with as little pain as possible, without being overly complicated, and leveraging the other tools I want to use (primarily Stripe). For context, my situation is that I usually have 4-5 projects going on in a given month, but they're only spread among one or two clients. My work is mainly billed time, but I sometimes need hardware or software related to the projects, and these costs are passed directly to the customer when necessary. I don't want to bill for individual projects; rather, I want to bill on a regular basis, automatically if possible, for all work and pass-through expenses that have accrued up to that point for each client. In other words, one automatic invoice per month with all outstanding items on it. Moxie does this, and it's easy. All I have to do is log time and expenses as they happen. It's great. Invoices are sent via email and can be paid online using Stripe as the payment gateway. I know Moxie also provides some communication tools, and I've heard from others that they're quite good, but I haven't used them myself yet. Moxie has been so easy and helpful to use. It truly is a platform that handles everything a solopreneur and small business owner needs. I love their FB community as well as it has been so helpful with the set up and questions. I appreciate that the company is continuing to make upgrades and add features as well.

Moxie's customer support is some of the best I've experienced from a SaaS. The team is always quick to respond and goes above and beyond to help their customers. While there are still some areas where Moxie could improve (it's slow sometimes), I'm overall very happy with the product. As an all-in-one tool, Moxie has been a lifesaver for managing my freelance business. I use it for everything from proposals to contracts to invoicing! I can't recommend this enough!

I joined Moxie about a month ago and I have been very impressed! I own a freelancer company and it is so nice to have one place for everything and Moxie really ties everything together. Many of my clients have expressed how they love the new layout of my proposals and invoices. Lastly, the customer service is exceptional!

Very nice software, best crm.

I was looking for a simple CRM where I can track my time, issue invoices and send proposals. Moxie does that and even more, also their mobile app makes it easy to do updates on the road.

After using Moxie for a month, I'm very pleased! The interface is very intuitive and support is terrific.
