My experience with Wirestock - VERY NEGATIVE
My experience with Wirestock has been pretty negative. Not because of the business model or the projects—in fact, the projects can be really interesting, and at first I was very motivated to collaborate and create as much as possible. However, based on my experience, the project management for areas like Virtual Try-On and Character Consistency lacked what I would consider basic project management structure, industry understanding, and clear communication. This created a lot of unnecessary challenges for freelancers. I fully understand that freelancers are not employees and that no one is perfect, but there should still be a baseline of respect, professionalism, and clear communication in any collaboration. At times, it felt like freelancers had very limited ways to voice concerns or get meaningful responses, which made the situation even more frustrating. There was also a lack of transparency around projects, frequent changes in rules, and difficulty getting consistent or clear answers. Support responses were often slow, and it felt like responsibility was not clearly taken by project managers when issues arose. I hope the company can reconsider the management, see these issues and completely change them. Wirestock has so much potential and all of it is being ruined by some individuals who are apparently extremely unaware of what they do, at least based on my experience with them.
