Bought a Winston unit back in October…
Bought a Winston unit back in October 2020 and I was impressed with the product and it worked very well for 5 months. However, the unit began to malfunction and would not perform as to specifications and would go constantly "off line". Disconnected the entire unit and reinstalled it as per Winston service support. This went on for several days and there was no resolution to the problem. Winston only provide a 30 day warranty and was not interested in my unit. I went back to my old reliable VPN and considered my $119.88 investment with Winston a total loss and lesson learned.

Hi Michael, As always, we appreciate the feedback as it helps us know where we need to improve. This is definitely not the experience we want any of our users to have and we are sorry that you experienced issues with your device after it was working perfectly for five months. Our support team promptly responded to your support tickets and was troubleshooting the device via the support portal up to the point when you requested a cancellation and advised that you had disposed of the unit and no longer required support. To clarify, Winston has a 30 day refund policy on customer cancellations and a one year warranty on the hardware as outlined in the warranty policy posted on our website: https://winstonprivacy.com/pages/warranty-policy. Our Customer Service Team Lead Dan Pagan did offer you a replacement device under our warranty policy. In the event you still have the unit to send back to us, we would be more than happy to honor the replacement warranty and send out a new device. You can email [email protected] for further instructions on how to initiate the warranty replacement.
