I'd give it 4.5 stars but I can't because it only allows 4 or 5 stars and I can't give 5 just yet because I have yet to resolve an issue with my Arlo cameras not working while the Winston Device is plugged in. The customer service is pretty badass though (very quick an attentive response), so I am sure I will get this resolved quickly. Consider it a soon to be 5 rating. Oh yeah, the device is awesome. Scary how much stuff was tracking me on the internet that the Winston blocked. Sad that we are at this point :(

Winston is the best. I had no idea how much data was being mined until I got winston installed. I had a few hiccups but winston customer service was right on it. I still have a few issues they are working on but otherwise it works like a charm.

Hey, I recently heard about winston, and it's ability to allow it's users the functionality to be able to view and control the trackers that were coming across the internet connection coming into my home. I have used VPNs in the past because of similar concerns, but these were often unreliable, and frustrating to use. I have had my winston for over a week, and so far I can say it has been an eye opening experience. It comes with a robust dashboard allowing you to see everything connecting to your network, and allows you to block, cloak or whitelist each of the connections. It also comes with pre configured filters to select from. So far, I really am impressed.

So far so good... I think!! I don't know a ton about network security so I am learning and trusting its doing its job... I am hoping to learn more about how to fine-tune the Winston to my needs!

Takes a little bit of patience to get it going, but it's a really interesting and cool product. What is described as a monthly service fee is actually billed all at once, which is something to be aware of. Regardless, I plan on keeping mine and am excited to see how they continue innovating the device and the service.

Great security. Easy to set up and just a bit of configuration to make this protect our household. Plus the team has been great to work with around questions.

Great piece of hardware and the software is getting better & better with each update. There are some small bumps in the road with certain websites, software, etc. not working due to the filter, but that is understandable given that it is a new product. Any time I've had an issue, Winston Support has been great to work with. Only reason this review isn't five stars is because the bugs are still being fully worked out, but I'm confident it will keep getting better!
