Purchased a WInkbeds Plus back in July…
Purchased a WInkbeds Plus back in July 2024. For a year, the back pain subsided. But in a year, the pain slowly returned. Didn't realize until the 2 year mark, that the mattress might be the issue. Replaced it and the back pain immediately stopped, well the replacement isn't a wink beds and its softening up too quickly. The problem with mattresses these days is just like other things we have seen over time, the quality isn't there. Advertised as this or that, but doesn't last. And mattresses aren't cheap investments. Winkbeds has a great warranty, but only if you have an identifiable indentation of more than like 1.5" or something. But the softening of the foam is not covered. The warranty should be based on the amount of pressure and how far it goes down with that pressure on top. But we know that won't happen. So while WInkbeds doesn't show it any longer, when I bought that one, they had a replacement program. Swap out for 1/2 price. I had remembered and asked about it, and they confirmed. It's 1/2 off the list price and then you have to select the room of choice delivery. The replacement will have no warranty and no swap opportunities. When you figure out the price with those factors, I refused to pay nearly as much as the sale price with free home delivery, for a mattress without any warranty or return privileges. Word of warning, if things work out, great! But if not, such as my situation, you won't have a good off ramp. I'm 5' 11" and weigh 375lbs due to medications and having cancer and other issues. These mattresses are not tested using this kind of criteria and the softening is the issue, not the ruts.
