Wind & WeatherReviews of windandweather.com

Very clever with their "offer codes". The so-called use of them in utilizing an online coupon that claims to be current? NOT SO. I tried to purchase twice in two days - same experience each time, though first total was $104 and second was $113. Very very specious manner of ordering what SHOULD be discounted and as it turns out? IS NOT. Lesson learned!

My husband bought me the White Amaryllis Garden for Christmas, it arrived on Dec. 4, we opened it right away and watered it and set it on table near sunny window. It is now Dec. 30th and what a SAD basket it is. Only 1 of 10 Star of Bethlehem bloomed, 5 of 8 tulips are struggling to bloom at all different times. The Amaryllis is poking along and I give this experience a 2 solely on my high hopes for the Amaryllis. What a sad, mess of a basket. I will NEVER request another one again. Also, I am an EXPERIENCED gardener so not a novice in this regard.

2/25/24 Wind & Weather has several scams they perpetrate on their website. No. 1 is wasting your time by not letting you use your established password. You can try and try to re-enter it but never succeed. This is 2024 and high time Wind & Weather had a user-friendly website. How disrespectful to customers to waste their time. No. 2 is sucking you in with offer of a BIG DISCOUNT TODAY and then charging a huge S&H fee. No. 3 is trying to get you to click ORDER NOW before they’ve disclosed the S&H fee. No. 4 is not posting poor reviews but telling the customer that they post all reviews and the customer must be looking in the wrong place. DUH. No. 5 – I decided I don’t want to spend anymore of my precious time today detailing more W&W scams.

Undoubtedly one of the most messed up companies I have dealt with. Totally botched up my orders, delivered incorrectly, issued a return, cancelled a return, advised returning to UPS, then sent me a FED EX return label. Stay away from this company! IN THEIR DEFENSE, they have promised to refund everything. Will wait and see.

We purchased a rain gauge for $150 and the ball lost it's red color in the first 6 months. We just had over an inch of rain but the ball didn't float in the water so when I went to pull up the ball it suctioned to the vial and the vial dropped and broke. So we called Wind & Weather and they want $20 for the ball & $20 for the vial plus shipping to replace these parts. The rain gauge wasn't worth the price and now we will look for another store to be buying our outdoor items. So disappointed that they would charge us to replace the vial & ball. We have been good customers for many years and purchased many items.

I purchased 2 x metal bee & butterfly spinner garden stakes. Based on reviews on their site, these items not only look great but spin well and are good quality. This is not true. They did not spin (except in gale force wind) and quality is very cheap. I went to post my own reviews, only to find I could not. So how are reviews posted by customers? It looks like only employees can post reviews. Deception is never good. You will get the stuff you order, however, be warned it is overpriced and does not work as advertised.
