I purchased a 7 pound beef tenderloin at Wild Fork.
I purchased a 7 pound beef tenderloin at the Wild Fork in Coral Gables, Florida for my 75th Birthday Party. The price was $15.99 a pound. Reasonable price for a choice beef tenderloin. When I open the defrosted package. I was in shock. I took off almost 1 lb. of fat and membrane. The untied beef tenderloin looked horrible. The flap was all broken up, the large part of the tenderloin had holes in the meat. Thank God I knew what I was doing, after I seasoned the tenderloin and tied the roast, the roast looked decent but I was very concerned on how it would taste. After a slow cook at 200 degrees in a convection oven and a 10 minute 400 degree sear. I served it to my guests. The beef tenderloin was a complete success very tender, very moist and delicious. Trust Pilot wont alow me to share the pictures I took.
