Hi John - A member of our team will be in touch first thing in the morning to get the situation rectified. It's possible that the hose needs to "relax" from the shipping (which can leave it compressed) but if it's simply cut wrong, we'll make it right ASAP.

Hello Alexander, thank you for your review. Our goal is to provide every customer with the information they need to make the right decision for their applications. We never try to “upsell” any of our customers but will advise if the product they are interested in is not the best fit for what they will be using it for. However, we did honor your request to release the order. Because the order was placed on Thursday after 5 PM the order process did not begin officially until Friday morning. Therefore, the next business day would be Monday. So, there was no delay in shipping. We always appreciate customer feedback but want to be clear that our follow-up contact was not to get you to buy a more expensive hose, but rather to raise our concerns about the hose you were choosing. We want all of our customers to be aware of the hoses they are interested in and, in some cases, the limitations of those hoses. We have your order ready to ship out and when it does, you’ll receive an email notification with the tracking numbers. The Flex-Tube PU 4” ID x 100’ hose you ordered is a durable hose that can withstand some of the most abrasive debris. However, it is not applicable for all applications. Unfortunately, because you ordered online, we were unable to assess this and point you in the correct direction. When assessing customer’s needs, we utilize the acronym S.T.A.M.P (Size, Temperature, Application, Media, Pressure). In your case, knowing what the application is, the type of material or media going through your hose, and the pressure the hose needs to handle will allow us to provide you with the right hose. We understand your frustration in not getting the hose at the time you needed it. However, we do state on our website that there is a 2-3 week lead time. While most orders usually ship within a week, there are times when we experience issues with inventory and our manufacturers and unfortunately that happened in your case.
