I have been purchasing plant based crossiants for several years. On a recent visit I was appalled to see the items loose on the shelf, as they are usually in packages protecting them from germs. I will no longer shop at Wholefoods. There indifference to the health and wellbeing of their customers is shocking.

The solemn promise posted by the Whole Foods as a response to my first review, as well as the one given in person by the manager of the seafood department, are both EMPTY, as demonstrated by the image of the tail piece delivered less than 30 minutes ago (image available). This goes beyond sustained exploitation of customers who use delivery. It is pure and simple abuse of customers' trust, accompanied by meaningless promises, or, at worst, outright lying. The only reason I have continued to shop at Whole Foods is the absence of a better alternative. The solution is obvious - Amazon's monopoly MUST be broken up, at ONCE!

I have tried to be patient with WF at getting a job with them over the past 10 years. Several times they had turned me down when I received the strange AI or whatever that emails back about choosing other canidates. I have a culinary degree and several qualifications so I don't know what they are looking for. Once I did get an interview and I thought a promised job the person interviewing me spoke down to me about the application personality tests that I took because I didn't receive high numbers on their test. The test they require you to take before getting hired seemed very personal asking questions about if I always leave dishes in my sink, or how many times I have lied to my partner ect??? I'm not sure how to answer those because I am a very honest person. That being said I feel they do not give credit to those with disabilities or room for those of us who live in the real world. I would not work for a company who judges me by a silly AI test instead of personal one on one conversation. Still never got the job.

Fish market attendant at Rocky River , Ohio sold us 2 Spanish Mackerel whole fish with the promise to prepare the fish. Nothing was done, we were left with whole fish, difficult to try and prepare and have very little left for a meal we were looking forward to. Feel very disappointed and misled

After multiple Amazon Whole Foods deliveries I am finally writing about the sub-par experiences. While most items are delivered as requested, it does show that the people shopping for your produce care ZERO about the quality of items you receive. This reflects poorly on Whole Foods, as well as Amazon for multiple reasons: 1. The quality of foods (fresh produce) on the shelf is often much past its useful date. Offering the perception that the quality received is poor, or the QA of management in house is lacking. Surely every piece of fruit or veggie is not going to be perfect, but let’s clear that out before we let our customers see it/buy it, and before the mold spreads to surrounding produce. 2. The people responsible for shopping/packing/ and letting the produce out of the store are also lacking in, well courtesy for one, but professionalism as well. It is reasonable to think the majority of people who choose to pay for this service are doing so out of necessity. The dissatisfaction with moldy and soft-spotted produce lets me think there are people performing this service who think “if you want it done well you should do it yourself”. It’s very clear to me that I cannot count on someone else to shop for, and deliver goods that they would like to eat themselves. I have relied on this delivery a hand full of times due to pregnancy and disability related issues and I am 3/3 disappointed with the products received. I was hoping I just had a bad shopper or a bad day on the other 2. However, the heirloom tomatoes (I wanna say were about $4-$6 for 2) BOTH times were inedible. And the last order I placed (intentionally foregoing the tomatoes) I purchased limes that- I am not exaggerating - were DUSTING off with green blue mold. I am disgusted. The shopper, the management, WF and Amazon are all equal participants in this service and they need to straighten their tie. It is absolutely appalling to pay for something so very needed and to be almost slapped in the face with the delivery.

I have ordered from Whole Foods before and it was ok. However, 90 degrees today and instead of leaving groceries in front of covered front door as usual, the delivery person left the bags on the hot stones of our driveway. I didn't know they were out there since they have always come to door and ring the bell. No tip for the delivery today. Made me sooooo mad! Really not smart. Had to throw some food away to be safe. \

I submitted an order for Whole Foods three hours before my 8 to 10 delivery option. I immediately noticed that I did not want one item and I needed two more. I was not able to go into my order to delete the one item, and when I tried to add items which it said I could they created a new order for delivery also 8 to 10 but also with an 895 delivery fee. I have been tried for the last hour to contact someone at customer service. They are worthless. Not sure how I’m going to get credit for the item I don’t want . I’ve been on Amazon customer for years and usually it has been very easy to talk to someone and work something out. Maybe it’s just with Whole Foods orders ?

I am a Amazon Prime member for over 15 years. I don't write many reviews but this time I was compelled based on the poor service I received. My experience as a shopper on 3/25/24 ~3:30pm in Whole Foods in Albuquerque, NM (Academy Store) stands out as the worst I have ever experienced in a store. I felt that either the staff was just repremanded severly before my arrival to the butcher counter or I was simply unjustly hated. I got home and looked in the mirror to see if I was wearing anything offensive (in my opinion I was not). The series of events went like this: Whole Foods Academy store was unusually quiet when I arrived with my 7 year old daughter. At the butcher counter I was the only person standing there 6' 2", good attitude, always approachable. There were 3 employees behind the counter one was breaking up chicken parts and the other two in white smocks about 10 feet away from me who are, in my repeated experience, the usual counter personnel. One of the smocked employees looked up attempting to appear as to "not" notice me then went on with their business with the other smocked employee in front of a computer screen to the side of me. I stood at the counter as I usually do except this time it was almost 5 minutes standing there before I finally had to say something to the person working on the chicken. I said "I can see you are busy but may I please I get 2 of these?" The employee didnt even look up but said they would help me in a minute hastily taking off just one of the chicken carcass gloves leaving the other on their hand clearly full of goo from the chicken. Without barely looking up this employee with the badge "Julie" packaged the item I wanted still not looking up. The other 2 smocked employees still appearing oblivious to me standing right in front of them. As I was just receiving the package from "Julie" another customer approached the counter and before that customer could even look up or decide what they wanted the two smocked employees cheerfully bee-lined to the new customer who then appearing taken by surprise responded with "I dont know what I want yet". The two smocked employees stood at attendance of this single new customer at the meat counter waiting with anticipation to help them. My waiting, chicken goo on my food and label no problem compared to the immediate cheerful help this new customer received was the real revealation. I immediately felt something was wrong, gut feeling, a feeling I was blatently discriminated against. At this point with the only offense of me being completely ignored until another customer approached the counter... It was surreal like it was staged or planned or there are hidden cameras.... I called into the store and spoke to a person who addressed themselves as Chris, a manager, who listened to me thanked me for calling and said he would address the issue immediately. In my opinion Chris clearly had very limited customer service or managerial skill so I stopped my dialogue to Chris and the call ended. I was left feeling that nothing would be done. I am not spiteful but will avoid the meat counter in the future. I could say I will not shop this store again or end my Amazon Prime membership but this would be extreme as I felt I was being deliberately ignored for some reason and will not allow bad employees to change how I shop but geeze... crappy experience...
