WEX was the COBRA admin for my insurance after I was laid off. They are the absolute worst. My insurance company never got updated files showing my insurance plans and coverage. I was unable to get any documentation from them in order to apply for health insurance via healthcare.com, resulting in not having coverage at all. This is the worst insurance (all are bad) I have ever had. Shameful.

Something strange is going on with WEX. We used to get reimbursed within 5 days and now it takes 6 weeks according to customer service? This is a benefit our employer paid for and the employees are not receiving? With all the fraud going on within govt and other agencies makes you wonder

If stars for rating WEX were designed to rate for the most deplorable, convoluted, "horrible" customer experience, there are not enough stars to rate the disgusting, time-consuming, non-productive experience I continue to have. I am a retired Kaiser Permanente employee of 37 years and in deep need of health benefits that Kaiser Permanente has contracted to WEX to manage. Retirement is hard enough to manage all the costs of housing, food and costs of health care. Look also at the BBB ratings of WEX. These ratings too offer another measure of the abysmally poor customer service by WEX. Leadership of all organizations using WEX need to know how bad WEX is and to contract with another organization that has some morals and treats customers with dignity and economic justice.

What's the point of even using their HSA? I had a medical appointment in December, received my bill in January, and WEX denied the claim because the date of service "was in the previous year." So beware everyone - don't schedule medical appointments in December, because they won't pay for it! I called and pointed out this flaw and they said "yes, it's unfortunate." Why is this country's healthcare system so messed up?

This is the shittiest fuel card company of ever dealt with you can't ever speak to anybody besides an automated BS robot. Every month when I go into login to pay my bill it tells me that my credentials aren't in the system and every month I have to reset my password because it does not recognize it even though it's Auto saved on my phone and it auto fills in what a s***** company this credit card company should be shut down and not allowed to do business customer service sucks you can't talk to anybody

One of the worst creditors I have ever seen. I started knowing Wex Bank by getting Marathon gas card for our company's fuel needs. I didn't know this financial institution before requesting gas cad by Marathon. With their first statement, they charged us $10 statement fee which we weren't informed about it and when I called the customer service, the representative gave me credit and enrolled us in online statement. It was interesting that we never see that credit in our account. In their 3rd statement, they charged us $75 under the name of finance charge for absolutely no reason. I said to myself enough is enough and I cancelled our company's account with them immediately. I believe they are robbing the un-educated contractors by nonsense fees and charges. So, I'm telling everybody to be careful and do NOT do business with Wex Bank. They are horrible people.

My former employer switched to insurance collection services provided by WEX Health. Just received their introductory letter to establish an account. To maintain dental insurance the monthly premium is $23. Online withdrawal from checking is $23 plus an administrative fee of $20. Payment by credit card is also the same administrative fee. An automated payment system fee that is as much as the premium fee? What a scam! Instead, I am sending a check. Based on the comments here, I think I will be lucky if it gets credited to my account.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. This company prays off vulnerable populations since they handle cobra. They will not make outbound calls to rectify their own mistakes with notifying the carriers that they’ve been paid for the premiums. Two different periods I’ve been forced to cobra through Wex and the same experience both times. This company needs to be investigated. Please employers stop using this company and subjecting people to this treatment it’s just not right. I get their probably one of the cheapest providers but no one deserves to be treated with such carelessness.
