I would give zero stars if i could. My entire experience witH WEX cobra has been a nightmare. Multiple calls/emails, every representative has given me different information. I finally spoke with a supervisor and followed their instructions (repeating what i already did) and still do not have coverage, though they gladly took my money. This has been going on for 7 weeks and myself and my children still do not have healthcare coverage. For an industry as highly regulated as insurance, its shocking how disorganized, incompetent and delayed WEX is. If i had to do it again, i would have taken the crappy healthcare market place ins. At least then i would have SOME level of coverage. GO ELSEWHERE!!!? Wex is horrific!

Buyer beware. Horrible customer service, and they have an excuse for everything, which takes 10-14 days to get a response. Then they respond with things that could have been answered in 5 seconds, and then you have to wait another 10-14 days. I would not recommend this company to anyone ever. Fleet managers should stay far, far away

Phillips 66 WEX FLEET CARD Applied for this card, approved and had it sent to LLC Agent address due to my traveling demand. No card has been received by WEX. But I got a charge, so I was able to change the billing address to my personal with some proof of billing. They will refuse payment, because no I dont have account number or card number which I dont have possession of. And i am constantly getting email to pay the bill, and when i call there is nothing customer service can do to help... this company is a complete joke, and majority of the people employeed barely speak english. Requested supervisor and this was denied by who ever was on the phone call. And hung up on me because she said there is nothing they can do

I retired and have been on COBRA through WEX since 9/1/25. I initially enrolled in vision and dental for my husband and me. When I went to use the vision coverage last December, I was told by EyeMed that I didn't have coverage. I made numerous calls to WEX and to the benefits department at my previous employer, but it was never resolved. I gave up and forfeited the premium which I'm sure was their objective. In June my husband passed away from cancer. I have submitted the death certificate and form required to remove my husband and have confirmed that WEX received the documentation on 7/9/26. Per customer service my request should take 7 business days to process. My husband has not been removed from the account and thus the full premium continues to be drafted from my account. I have called multiple time to understand what the issue might be, but customer service can't process or correct anything. They can only make excuses for what I'm beginning to think is a non-existent processing department. I called today to ask that a supervisor call me back to confirm that my husband has been removed from coverage and the credits have been applied correctly. I'm not going to hold my breath.

$20 ACH transations to pay your bill each month is absolutely criminal.

They are CONSTANTLY asking for receipts for obvious medical expenses for my FSA. Then I have to go call providers for receipts, and dig through MyChart which is its own hellish experience to try and get details for charges from the medical group we use. What is even the point of having this?

They continue to deny repeating provider claims. Same dr 4 or 5 years in a row. They play with peoples pockets. No customer service agent can assist. They simply keep saying the system blah blah blah. If the system is programmed properly it should be able to detect repeat expenses. Worst customer service ever experienced. These people only have one job. To say the system is requiring...... Wonder how much they are paid for that.

Worst company I have ever dealt with, dont dare use the FSA/HSA at anything like a dentist or eye doctor they claim its not approved, even though it should be. They will make sure to run you through enough nonsense youll just give up. 40+ hours invested into this and I'm pretty sure we have negative progress, we sure havent moved forward at all. They exist purely to steal your money and provide no service. They can sure spam me about using the FSA to have doordash deliver medications though, which they will probably deny and youll be forced to foot the bill anyways.
