Not good price.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We rented a used shipping container from this company for several years. The same type of used container is advertised on their own website for around $1,245, yet after our container was damaged in the Los Angeles fires, they attempted to charge us over $4K based on an alleged “asset value” rather than their own stated fair market value. They repeatedly pushed for insurance involvement, threatened us with insurance fraud despite the container not being covered under our insurance policy, threatened legal action and collections, and showed little compassion despite the fact that we have been long-time loyal customers who had faithfully paid rent for years and were dealing with a devastating fire loss. We attempted to resolve the matter fairly and reasonably by offering to meet in the middle between their advertised market price and the inflated “asset value” amount they demanded, but so far no resolution has been reached.

The price was good. The customer service response was great. Buuut... the actual container, the lasting, durable, tangible item was below marginal. A busy place and I opened the doors, and wrassled em shut, but didn't go thru it well enough. BUT... there is an inspection sticker from a supposed third party inspection company that will give you a FALSE sense that someone actually looked at it. Secondary door has TWO pins broken, THE TOP TWO!! So if/when the third one breaks.... well, Good Luck. Ever look at trying to change or fix a broken/missing hinge pin? Good Luck with that. So what started as a good deal turned into a bust. Maybe I shoulda tipped the yard guys to get a better one. And I should probably give it one star as no-one reads 2 star reviews.
