NEVER buy from these people ! Two bad products in a row !
Over two orders placed in October 2024 and October 2026 with Wen via Amazon for a bench grinder ( Order # 114-4225810-7417844) and a sander/grinder ( Order # 112-7501861-0527449) -- both were DOA out of the box. The bench grinder armature shaft bearings had so much wobble the machine was dangerous to operate. It was ordered in October 2024 and first set up in March 2025, then reported as faulty and dangerous. It took until September 2025 to deal with Wen 'customer service' and send videos etc -- a SIX MONTH ordeal that almost saw me toss the bench grinder in the garbage because it wasn't safe to use and I was willing to take the loss and end the major hassle. IT TOOK SIX MONTHS TO GET THAT RESOLVED. Today, I received a combo bench belt sander and grinder that's completely DOA out of the box. The motor doesn't turn and simply makes a very loud and disturbing hum -- then the breaker on the tool blows. NEITHER ONE OF THOSE EXPENSIVE POWER TOOLS WERE EVER SUBJECTED TO ANY TYPE OF QUALITY CONTROL BEFORE THEY LEFT THE FACTORY IN THAILAND. The infelicity of surrendering quality control to a 3rd World foreign country... The consequences ARE ALWAYS ON THE CUSTOMER. Sometimes very bad consequences.
