We completely understand your initial skepticism upon seeing the box—that’s never the first impression we want to give! We also really appreciate you pointing out the specific areas for improvement. It is incredibly helpful for us to know that the headrest doesn't quite reach a comfortable position for someone 5'1", and that the lumbar support isn't locking securely for you. Regarding the recline positions, we hear you—more flexibility would definitely enhance the experience. We have documented all these points and escalated them to our design team for future upgrades. For your current chair, The lumbar support needs to be pulled slowly from the bottom up to the middle until it locks in place. You cannot pull it all the way up at once, because if you pull it all the way up, it will automatically unlock and won't lock. You can try adjusting it again.
