Very dissapointed in how wefunder is…
Very dissapointed in how wefunder is handling my information and spam on the platform. Edit: In response to Merc, it isn't just about the spam, it's that people's information on wefunder, including location, defaults to public with little disclosure that it's doing so and no good way to make that information private once you've put it in. Edit 2: While investments can be made private and there is that option to "hide from search engines" your name and location still remains public for anyone who has your URL and wants to look you up, again with no way to change that and no disclosure that wefunder is doing this.

As you know, we already discussed your concern and I passed along that feedback to the appropriate teams. We already turned off the feature as we rework it that allowed for the spam. Edit: In response to Kyle, your feedback was received and I passed it along to the appropriate teams to review and discuss. In the settings, you are able to make your investments private and hide your information from search engines. I am able to help make that happen to anyone that needs that help while the default remains the way it does. I'm trying to be as helpful as possible and want you to know that you were heard.
