I bought what was supposed to be a Longines watch, it stopped working shortly after I wound it. Watchmaxx would not let me return it because it was over 30 days. I sent it in to Longines for service and they told me it was a fake and not Longines. When I reached out to Watchmaxx they told me the serial number I reported as fake was not the one they sent me. They kept saying someone must of switched the watch. That they sent me a real Longines. Basically calling me a thief and a liar. A

Poor quality & FAKE!!
Poor quality, fake watches. Not authentic at all. Purchased a watch returned for refund they kept the watch and money. Had to report this company to BBB file a complaint and dispute transaction. Be careful purchasing from frauds and fake items. This is not a trusted honest company at all.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service, will be purchasing upgraded watch from a more customer focused merchant. Background...Purchased Movado for graduation gift for son out of state. Due to my son's location and my travel I missed return / exchange window by days. Attempts were made to call customer service but WatchMaxx were closed for on Friday going into Memorial weekend then religious holiday. When I finally reached customer service on 6/4 stating exchange for more expensive watch WatchMaxx answer sorry you are pasted return / exchange window. I will happily spend money to upgrade with another merchant. Never doing business w/ WatchMaxx. Note to buyers they put a tiny piece of paper on watch band, if paper comes off band during fitment watch return/exchange is VOIDED.

Caution Advised: Unclear Promotions and High Freight Margins Undermine Trust
As a customer from Australia, I recently attempted to purchase a Longines V.H.P. watch from WatchMaxx. A promotional email advertised “up to 20% off watches and accessories” using the coupon code MOM2025. However, upon applying the code at checkout, I received a rejection message stating it was “not applicable”—with no prior notice that men’s watches were excluded.
When I contacted customer service, the explanation was that the offer only applied to select women’s watches, something not disclosed in the original email. In Australia, this kind of misleading headline promotion—where exclusions are hidden until checkout—would likely breach ACCC guidelines on bait advertising.
Equally concerning was the international freight charge: USD $91.96 for a single watch. That figure seems excessive, especially when many grey-market competitors manage similar shipments at a third of the cost, even with insurance. It creates the impression that margins are being quietly recovered through inflated shipping fees.
WatchMaxx responded courteously, but ultimately offered no remedy—no shipping concession, no alternative goodwill, no meaningful solution. I opted to take my business elsewhere.
The key takeaway? If you’re an international buyer, tread carefully. Read every fine print, factor in the freight costs upfront, and don’t expect coupon codes to behave logically at checkout. Trust, once damaged, is difficult to repair.

Hi Ent,
Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your disappointment, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few points.
The MOM2025 promotion was designed specifically for Mother’s Day, and as such, it applied only to a selection of women’s watches and accessories. This was clearly outlined on our website, and a quick click from the promotional email would have led to the eligible items. However, we understand how this could have been misinterpreted, and we will review how our future communications can be clearer for all customers.
Regarding international shipping, the shipping fee is calculated directly by the carrier based on factors like destination, insurance, value, and package size. We do not inflate or profit from shipping charges. We understand this cost can feel high, and we’re always exploring ways to offer more competitive international shipping options.
We’re truly sorry that your experience fell short of expectations. Your feedback has been shared with our team, and we hope to have the chance to serve you better in the future.
Best regards,
WatchMaxx Team

I didn't receive a brand new watch
I didn't receive a brand new watch. Didn't realize it until I wore the watch for a week. The band part of the watch was repaired at some point and they told me it was a brand new watch! I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER WATCH FROM YOUR COMPANY!!!!! I ALSO DIDN'T KNOW CAUSE I DON'T KNOW ABOUT WATCHES THAT IT WAS A BATTERY OPERATED WATCH WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS RECEIVING AN AUTOMATIC WATCH. WHEN I REALIZED IT I HAD ALREADY WORE IT AND CAUSE OF THEIR POLICY I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. HORRIBLE

Tampered condition.
When I received my Watch, the security sticker was removed from the face of the watch. It had been placed on the plastic protector and put back. I there was no information book with instructions inside the box. When I notified the company, the response insisted they sent everything in perfect condition. This is not true and insulting. I will no longer do business with this company. I suggest to anyone reading this review, that they strongly consider doing the same. Thank you.

They are not trustworthy!
I returned a Tag Heuer watch exactly as it was received. Watchmaxx accepted my return after I sent them a photo of the watch. They are now trying to say I changed the watchband and that the one they received was detached from the watch. This is a lie. They are refusing to refund my money, and it's approx. $1600. I have disputed it through my credit card company but who knows...? Stay away from them!

I cannot recommend buying a watch from…
I cannot recommend buying a watch from this brand.
I bought an expensive watch that stopped working after wearing it twice (within 5 days) and they say they I cannot return the watch.
Do not buy here! I cannot recommend.
They do not offer a full warranty with the brands. Again - do not buy here!
Edit: to your answer: to this day I am waiting for information, in how I can send my watch back and get it repaired. Your policy, to repair it-hasnt helped me so far.

We sincerely apologize that your watch stopped working so soon after purchase. At WatchMaxx, we strive to ensure our customers are happy with their purchase and receive high-quality products and service.
Unfortunately, as stated in our return policy, we are unable to accept returns for watches that have been worn or used. However, we are more than happy to assist with repairs under our WatchMaxx warranty. We also made every effort to find a solution that would not require you to ship the watch back to us, given the international nature of this situation.
Our goal is always to ensure that you are satisfied with your watch, and we are fully committed to helping resolve this issue. If you would like to proceed with a repair, please let us know, and we will be happy to assist.
