I was quite excited to lower my warranty payment and sign up with WD. The salesman quoted me 3 different rates and I took notes. I verified that my waiting period was 30 days or 1000 miles. He confirmed. I see that in my notes. Lord and behold, I ran over a pot hole in the road and took my car to the dealership. The dealership called but WD denied my claim. They said my warranty was 30 days and 1000 miles. I was clearly over 1000 miles but 2 days shy of being 30 days. Very disappointed in the salesman. I wish i recorded the call. I know what I heard and that is what I wrote in my notes. In reply to the message from WD, I know you are doing your PR thing right now. But I do know how to take notes. I wrote down exactly what the salesman said. He said 30 days OR 1000 miles. In addition, there is no need for me to reach out to anybody. I just want this policy canceled so I can move on. Last thing, why is my information posted for everyone to see. I think my contract number would be considered private. I don't think everyone needs to know when I purchased the policy. A simple statement of how many days off from my 30 days would be acceptable. With all the hacking and cyber attacks, why give someone more power to assume my identity. This is why I put a fraud alert on my account...stupid stuff like this. I don't mind my name being seen, but you actually wrote my account number up there. Unbelievable! Anyway, no further response needed on your end and I am not calling anyone. I have sent in my cancellation already!. Update #2: Thank you for removing my contract number. It should have never went there to begin with. Have a nice day!

Update: Customer service will reach out to you to cancel your policy. Have a nice day! I see that you purchased on April 11th so the contract would not yet be active until May 11th. All policies are either 30 days AND 1000 miles or 90 days AND 1000 miles. I have contacted the customer service manager to reach out to you. You can also reach out to them at Toll-Free Phone: (800) 621-2783 with your contract #.
