This site has opened so many doors for me and helped me jumpstart my career. I think anyone who is remotely interested in finance needs to read WSO, and even for people outside of finance, there are some very entertaining threads. I personally visit this page couple times a week. Thanks Patrick!

I've been an avid reader for years now and am incredibly grateful for the feedback and resources that have been provided. It has helped me better understand the financial services industry and to decide on which segment I'd like to eventually work in. Thank you to everyone who makes it possible, as it is truly a great use of time on the Internet.

Patrick Curtis has created an incredible community. His paid preparation materials are absolutely invaluable to anyone preparing for interviews in the industry. WSO is like Quora for bankers - but with higher quality information and funnier threads from a self-selecting group of users that is exceptionally well moderated.

This site is a must have for all interested or working in the financial services industry. Visibility on firms, compensation, culture, paths to success, interview prep, etc. are an invaluable resource.

Because of WSO I landed a six figure job in IBD back in 2012, which enabled me to build up enough savings to start my own company in 2019. Without WSO, this wouldn't have been possible!
