Wall Street OasisReviews of wallstreetoasis.com

I thought this course was very helpful and up to date. I am post graduate intern now in IB and the course made my onboarding process much smoother. I was able to follow along easily and replicate each assignment accordingly. I cannot believe I didn't learn this skill while I was in college. Thank you for all your help, WSO!

WallStreetOasis is hands down the best resource for candid, thoughtful, real time read on finance recruiting, interviewing and hiring. I’m a career banker (now MD) and found the transparency refreshing. Two very valuable offerings have been comp transparency and culture reads. Large organizations/management chains etc can become detached from the market. WSO always gave me the confidence when pushing for a promotion, comp increase or moving banks. Thank you to WSO and the community for all the help!

One of a kind hub/home base to young and mid career finance professionals and such. 1) Interview guides very full 300 pg on average, helps with useful wording to young kids who have no clue how to verbalize most of something they don’t even understand to be doing 2) Networking - scared to cold LinkedIn network? How about for $75 you can buy 30 min with MD or Associate at GS,JP,BAofA, Blackstone etc. and establish a friendship and a solid network into the future (and select out of a few thousand of these mentors/ networks) this in itself is what makes WSO out of the ball park amazing 3) modeling courses I found them well put together and to the point; now I give a lot of respect to BIWS, Wallstreetprep and others who specialize in these courses and use all of these while at work. 4) office hours with f*#^ng Patric blood and bones on YouTube (not more than 30 people visiting these sessions) and also Podcast Interviewing real people about their careers whom again you can for the most part ask to connect with and establish a network. Repeating myself, Networking is the toughest part of the business and the fact that WSO’s community history is tight with current professionals out there is what makes it stand out.

I am a subscriber for WSO Elite Modeling Package since last year. The modules are really great. I was surprised with how practical the excersies were. The videos are not too long and are short, clear and concise which i love. I like also the fact that i can learn at my own pace. Would recommend it!

I have used WSO for a few different courses and have always been pleased with the level of detail, simplicity in explanations, and availability.

I've been a member of WSO since 2011 when I was a freshman in college determined to turn a passion for investing into a career on Wall Street (holy s**t, has it really been 10 years already?). I was a WSO rep for my university for a semester and have seen it develop through the years from just a finance forum to a comprehensive platform for financial education. WSO has been an essential resource every step of the way; from learning how to cold-call/email nearly every financial professional in LA as a freshman at a non-target looking for his first internship, to career advice for a PE associate looking to make a career change. I couldn't have made it to where I am now without the help & guidance of a few people who stuck their neck out for me and the WSO community that gave me the insight and knowledge I needed to prepare for every step along the way. If you want to work in finance, there isn't any website more valuable in your career development than WSO. Seriously, if nothing else buy the interview guides, they're absolute gold and I owe more than 1 job offer to them. Thank you Patrick Curtis for creating the community that educated and encouraged me every step of the way.

The courses were great and provided detailed analysis of each technical concepts in investment banking. Wish there were more courses that covers more sophisticated concepts. Thank you.

Great Prep for Internship This past summer, I had a buy-side internship where my day-to-day involved building and updating lots of equity models. The Excel Modeling course helped me hammer down all the shortcuts and functions so that I didn't have to waste time at work learning Excel and, instead, I could spend my time learning to be an investor. Would recommend this to anyone who needs to learn or needs a refresher on Excel for finance.
